If this Folly Beach wedding doesn't have you running for the shoreline than I just don't know how to help you!  This gorgeous coastal soiree at the Robinini by the Sea is the epitome of a low-key beach bash done right.  It's simple and stunning and, most importantly, looks like one heck of a good time.  Louie, the Groom, had a laid back morning getting ready with his groomsmen.  We love their attire - khaki pants, suspenders and bow ties - perfect!  Bride Stephanie enjoyed the early part of the day in the company of her closest gals and her pooch before slipping into her stunning gown.  The back of the dress is just killer!  The bridesmaids also rocked it in their minty blue dresses each added their personal flavor with varying necklaces.  After a precious ceremony on the beach, the newlyweds enjoyed some time with their bridal party before celebrating with their guests!  Mason jars, twine and hydrangea graced the tables while twinkle lights were strewn throughout.  Thanks to Gideon Photography for making the trip to Charleston to capture this charming Folly Beach wedding!

Folly Beach Wedding {Lauren + John}

If you call the Lowcountry home, then I'm sure you were in heaven this weekend with this beautiful weather we had.  It was so lovely that plenty of people grabbed their towels and sunscreen and headed straight to the beach!  In honor of the pretty skies, I thought we could get Monday crackin' with this beautiful Folly Beach wedding from Red Fly Studios.  These two Bostonians met at a Easter Sunday barbecue where almost everyone there was Irish (including John!) and Lauren had a hard time following conversions, but John was patient with her as the two chatted about their dogs and Lauren was immediately smitten with the kindhearted Irishman and soon the two became inseparable.  While planning their coastal Charleston wedding, the couple quickly selected a rental house on the beach to house their outdoor ceremony and lively reception under the stars.  Aren't you diggin' Lauren's amazing bouquet?

Westin Resort & Spa Hilton Head Island {Jaime + Ned}

We’re taking a trip down to the Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa this morning to share a beautiful Oceanside affair from King Street Photo Weddings that is sure to have you dreaming of a destination wedding!  With plans for a short engagement, Bride Jaime immediately dove into her wedding planning duties and quickly selected HHI as the destination.  Thanks to their stunning renovation, beautiful ceremony deck and an amazing coordinator, Julia Dodson, it was no surprise The Westin Resort & Spa  became their venue of choice.  But it was Julia’s recommendation of Michel Berda of King Street Photo Weddings that was the missing piece.  Michel’s artistic eye and diligent approach to his craft made for stunning images and a pretty awesome blog post for our A Lowcountry Wedding readers!

Fripp Island Wedding {Paige + Andy}

Destination wedding photographer, Jeremie Barlow, recently traveled to the Lowcountry to capture a beautiful Fripp Island wedding and y'all are going to go crazy over it!  The couple met when Bride Paige visited a winery in Napa and, lo and behold, her soon-to-be Husband Andy was the owner.  After a whirlwind romance, they fell madly in love and Paige now resides in wine country where the duo produces Lambert Bridge wine!  As a child, Paige frequented the sleepy, coastal town of Fripp Island, so it was the obvious choice for their destination wedding which made for quite the effortlessly elegant Lowcountry affair.

Citadel Beach House Wedding {Linsey + Mark}

 Fia Forever Photography just won't quit!  Their beautiful photography just leaves us wanting more everytime.  But that's just how we like it :)  They recently teamed up with a crew of talented Charleston wedding vendors to bring to life Linsey + Mark's gorgeous Citadel Beach House wedding.  The couple said 'I do' in one heck of a oceanside ceremony where guests were able to put their toes in the sand.  After, the newlyweds joined the crowd for a lively evening on the Isle of Palms.  Their guests enjoyed Lowcountry cuisine from Crazy Dutchman Catering and treats from WildFlour Bakery!  Need a little more Fia Forever in your life?  Well, check out some of their past work in Amie + Jeff's Beaufort wedding and Lynsey +Steve's McCrady's Wedding!

We spent yesterday soaking up the sun in our first official beach day of the season and, not surprisingly, I brought home my first sunburn of the year!  In honor of the beach-like weather we'll be experiencing this week, we're diving into this beautiful Monday with an oceanside affair from Libby McGowan Photography.  Shannon + Roy tied the knot in Pawleys Island, South Carolina at Litchfield Beach + Golf Resort.  I can't get enough of of the sweet pink + blue color palette and that ah-mazing cake!

Thanks to this crazy, springlike weather, we've all had a hankerin' to hightail it straight to the beach!  So, what better way to spend our Wedding Wednesday with a dreamy, Wild Dunes Wedding that will have you dying to stick your toes in the sand.  Beth + Jeff tied the knot this past September in the perfect coastal affair.  Luckily, our friends at Richard Bell Photography were on hand to document every single moment.  Their blue and white color palette couldn't have been better suited for the beach.  Don't you just love that bouquet?

Folly Beach Wedding {Lauren + Mark} Riverland Studios

I thought today might be a good day to escape this dreary, winter weather and head to the breezy shores of Folly Beach where Lauren and Mark tied the knot this past September.  Casual, intimate and understated, it  was a Charleston destination wedding done right!  I'm loving Lauren's coastal color palette, cheerful bouquets and her relaxed wedding day hairstyle created by Ash and Co. Bridal Hair and Make up.  Her bridesmaids donned turquoise bridesmaids dresses that were paired with adorable bouquets with Gerber daises.  To end the evening, the couple and their guest sent off beautiful wish lanterns into the lovely Lowcountry sky!   Thanks to Caroline of Riverland Studios for a capturing this beautiful, Folly Beach wedding!

Charleston Beach Wedding {Toni + Doc}

I hope everyone has enjoyed their time off!  I wanted to kick off this short work week with a charming beach wedding from Charleston wedding vendor, Priscilla Thomas Photography.  Toni and Doc met when Toni was a junior in high school and he was a freshman at USC. They were together throughout college but separated thereafter. In the 24 years that followed, they only saw each other once. But a few years ago they reconnected on Facebook and that led to a second chance to be together. Their wedding ceremony took place in the evening at Folly Beach by pier 1580. The family made a week long vacation out of the event by renting a beach house near the ceremony location. They opted for a simple, intimate wedding with close friends and family and classic blue details.

Coastal Wedding Anniversary {Amy Jo + Ben}

There's nothing more a Lowcountry girl loves than a beautiful coastline.  Absolutely nothing.  Which is why I'm positive any gal planning a wedding in Charleston, Hilton Head or Myrtle Beach will be head-over-heels for this effortless one year anniversary session from So Life Studios.  The couple was originally married in Mobile but had recently relocated to gorgeous Destin, Florida and were dying to jump back into their wedding attire to capture some seriously frame-able shots.  It was the perfect evening for them to recreate wedding day bliss.

Who's ready for a coastal, Charleston wedding from the talented Reese Moore Photography?!  Well, you're in luck, because we've got a beauty for you!  Caroline + Philip tied the knot on the shores of Folly Beach in an outdoor ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends.  Caroline dazzled in a stunning gown with a back that I just can't get enough of, while the men looked dapper in black.  After saying their vows, the couple took a moment for some intimate shots down by the water before joining their guests for a lively reception with adorable, personalized details.

Edisto Island Wedding {Ali + Josh}

The South Carolina coastline has this mystical quality about it that, let's be honest, holds the key to all of our hearts.  One of our favorite coastal spots for stunning, Lowcountry wedding imagery, is the dreamy, coastal town of Edisto Island, just an hour south of Charleston.  Thanks to lenses of Sarah C Photography, today we get to share Ali + Josh's whimsical, Just Married session along the shores of Edisto.  The afternoon started with an abundance of romantic, Spanish moss at Trinity Episcopal Church of Edisto before heading to beach to finish up at sunset.  Talk about Lowcountry heaven, right?

Emily + Jeff {Morris Island Wedding}

I'm certain it's something every girl daydreams about...getting married with your toes in the sand, waves crashing on the shore, the perfect September weather and that salty, coastal breeze.  Heaven, right?  Adorable couple Emily + Jeff tied the knot in a laid back, Lowcountry wedding, just outside of Charleston, on charming Morris Island.  Barefoot on the beach, the couple said 'I do' as the Morris Island lighthouse sat in the background as Kayla Jones Photography captured the entire afternoon.
