We're always up to feast our eyes on a sweet Magnolia Plantation wedding, but when mixed with a day-after session at Angel Oak, it's almost too much for my little Lowcountry-wedding-obsessed heart to handle. Toss amelia + dan photography and Ooh! Events into the fun and you've got a very pin-able Charleston wedding on your hands. Bride Kayce stunned in a fitted, lace gown while her bridesmaids looked lovely in neutral dresses of their liking before piling into a vintage, yellow truck. The men, on the other hand, donned yellow bow ties with grey suit pants before the couple met under the majestic Oak tree.

Boone Hall Plantation Wedding {Tabatha + Stuart}
Tabatha + Stuart tied the knot this past April in a lovely Lowcountry ceremony in Mount Pleasant, SC. The two said 'I do' in front of their dearest friends and family as they kicked off their beautiful Boone Hall Plantation wedding. The Bride's mother owns Blanche Darby Florist, so it was no surprise the flowers were showstoppers! I'm quite sure Tabatha's bouquet of hydrangeas and roses will be a pinterest favorite! After, the couple headed downtown for an evening of celebration at the Doubletree where Lee Edwards Entertainment kept the guests on their feet. Lowcountry Wedding {Morgan + Austin}
Thanks to our beautiful new online magazine, we are SEVERELY behind when it comes to blogging all of our favorite Lowcountry weddings which may have been a bad thing the past few months, but you’re all in for a treat now! Over the next few weeks prepared to be thoroughly spoiled with some serious Southern wedding inspiration starting with Morgan + Austin’s amazing Lowcountry wedding from the talented Jeanne Mitchum Photography. This South Carolina stunner is the epitome of everything we love about the coastal South. It’s effortlessly dreamy, wonderfully charming and makes us wish we were right there to enjoy that Lowcountry breeze. We can’t get enough of this earthy green and brown color palette and rustic details, not to mention the burlap-laced vases, that amazing anemone-filled bouquet and all of that natural sunlight!
From the Bride: We got married at my husband's parents' house off Abapoopa Creek on Johns Island. I made every decoration and all the favors by hand with ideas from pinterest and etsy. I spent hours googling free printable templates for heart shaped fans, gift basket tags etc. I have to say that the pictures are so beautiful due to the the amazing light we had and our amazing photographer. We were also very lucky in the weather department.

Y'all, these two are ca-ute! I just feel like a warning is in order before you get to scrollin'. I'm not sure about you, but I can't stop staring at bride Erica's smile. Talk about beaming! The newlyweds spent the day after their Daniel Island wedding gallivanting around the streets of the Holy City to cap off their magical weekend. Folly Beach Wedding {Lauren + John}
If you call the Lowcountry home, then I'm sure you were in heaven this weekend with this beautiful weather we had. It was so lovely that plenty of people grabbed their towels and sunscreen and headed straight to the beach! In honor of the pretty skies, I thought we could get Monday crackin' with this beautiful Folly Beach wedding from Red Fly Studios. These two Bostonians met at a Easter Sunday barbecue where almost everyone there was Irish (including John!) and Lauren had a hard time following conversions, but John was patient with her as the two chatted about their dogs and Lauren was immediately smitten with the kindhearted Irishman and soon the two became inseparable. While planning their coastal Charleston wedding, the couple quickly selected a rental house on the beach to house their outdoor ceremony and lively reception under the stars. Aren't you diggin' Lauren's amazing bouquet?

A handful of us are lucky enough to live in the Lowcountry and as hard as we try not to, sometimes we take for granted the beautiful scenery that's in our backyard, but then a stunning engagement session from Charleston wedding photographers, Aaron and Jillian Photography comes along and BOOM, you fall in love all over again. It took place among the historic streets of Downtown Charleston and the combination of this adorable couple + the amazing, “frame-worthy” photography is almost too much to handle. We love Anna's choice of attire. Her bright green shirts perfectly complements her lovely locks and thos fabulous wedges...and Anna looks pretty dapper, too! Charleston Engagement {Cameron + Brittany}
Cameron + Brittany are such cutie pies. Completely adorable and so genuine. You get the feeling that that this is how much fun they have on a regular basis, just hanging out, just the two of them. Which makes me feel certain that these two will be enjoying a very happy life together. I will say, I’m super happy Charleston wedding vendor Sara Bee Photography was on hand to capture all the cute-ness in that picture perfect way she always does. Charleston Weddings {Sarah + Ryan} Upstairs at Midtown
Thanks to good ol’ Tropical Storm Andrea, most of us will be locked up inside today, so we decided it was time for some Charleston weddings, especially a vintage-inspired bash with an eclectic color scheme was just what the doctor order! The sweet couple, Sarah & Ryan, met through mutual friends and within a week knew they had just met the person they were going to marry. They are both thankful for their supportive families and said, “Neither of us have very impulsive personalities, and I think they could tell that it was different than anything we had experienced before.” Ryan proposed to Sarah just five months later while floating in a canoe in a lake full of candles. How Can you say romantic? Their outdoor ceremony took place at Hampton Park before heading over to Upstairs at Midtown to celebrate.
