Elegant Beach Wedding on Folly Beach by Molly Joseph Photography
Y'all, get grab a cup of coffee and comfy because you're about to spend the rest of your Monday morning pinning this beautiful Folly Beach wedding. Polly and Devin tied the knot this September just outside of Charleston at a wonderful beach house - the Robinini by the Sea. Polly looked quite stunning in the perfect lace fit and flare gown while Devin looked dapper in a classic tuxedo. The couple married in an intimate oceanside ceremony before celebrating the night away with their guests. We love how this couple incorporated their pooch into their big day and all of Polly's DIY details. A big thank you to Molly Joseph Photography for sharing all the loveliness!

Folly Beach Wedding by Gideon Photography
If this Folly Beach wedding doesn't have you running for the shoreline than I just don't know how to help you! This gorgeous coastal soiree at the Robinini by the Sea is the epitome of a low-key beach bash done right. It's simple and stunning and, most importantly, looks like one heck of a good time. Louie, the Groom, had a laid back morning getting ready with his groomsmen. We love their attire - khaki pants, suspenders and bow ties - perfect! Bride Stephanie enjoyed the early part of the day in the company of her closest gals and her pooch before slipping into her stunning gown. The back of the dress is just killer! The bridesmaids also rocked it in their minty blue dresses each added their personal flavor with varying necklaces. After a precious ceremony on the beach, the newlyweds enjoyed some time with their bridal party before celebrating with their guests! Mason jars, twine and hydrangea graced the tables while twinkle lights were strewn throughout. Thanks to Gideon Photography for making the trip to Charleston to capture this charming Folly Beach wedding!

Vibrant Folly Beach Wedding by Duvall Events
If you've made your mind up and beach wedding is in your future, then you'll love every minute of this vibrant Folly Beach affair designed by Duvall Events and photographed by Richard Bell Photography. The beautiful bride sported a simple, elegant gown with a pair of Jack Rogers while the groom wore a tan suit. The tables were set with bud vases filled with an assortment of wildflowers while Jeanne's bouquet was full of luscious, pink peonies and daisies! After a touching ceremony, the newlyweds took some time to themselves for pictures on the dock before celebrating the night away with all of their guests!
From Jeanne: "A Celebration of Love - The most important thing to us in our wedding was celebrating love. We wanted the focus to be on the love between us, the love between us and our families, and the love between us and our friends rather than the little details and decorations. We wanted a naturally beautiful setting so we settled on the location, a Folly Beach house at the Washout, which happened to be owned by the family of our friend who introduced us. We wanted simple but elegant atmosphere so we chose to have string lights, seasonal wildflowers, and candlelight for decorations."

A Lowcountry Wedding - We're PRINTING a Magazine!
With the help of the fabulous Ashley at The Blog Salon, we recently gave ourselves a little facelift in honor of some big changes we've got going on at ALW. Not only have we redesigned the website, with a new vendor section on the way, we've opened the doors to our friends in Savannah to share their beautiful Lowcountry weddings with our faithful readers. So, not only will we continue to share dreamy Hilton head, Myrtle Beach and Charleston weddings, but we'll make regularly scheduled trips to Savannah, too. Not bad, eh? Along with welcoming our new city, we've also welcomed our new sparkly pineapple to add a little flair to our daily routine. While we're thrilled with the new look, we're even more excited to share our big announcement...
A Lowcountry Wedding proudly reaches 300,000 unique visitors every year. They come to us from all over the Globe and we couldn't be more thankful to share our Brides' Lowcountry style with the world. To keep the party going, we're thrilled to be extending our reach by launching our first PRINT version of A Lowcountry Wedding to be released later this year. Folly Beach Wedding by Party.Love.Birds + Erin McGinn Photography
Last year, you may remember we featured Becca + Jay's Folly Beach wedding at the Pink Flamingo Beach House in our inaugural issue of A Lowcountry Wedding Magazine. It was amazing and the perfect location for anyone looking for a low-key beach affair, so I was super excited when Jenn + Brian's coastal bash made it's way to my inbox. This sweet couple also selected the Pink Flamingo to host their Lowcountry soiree and, with the help of the team at Party. Love. Birds, they created an effortless ocean side backdrop for their beautiful wedding day. My favorite details - the dessert bar from Wildflour Pastry, the succulent centerpieces and the outdoor lighting that made for the perfect evening under the stars!

We Need Your Help!
So...we need your help! We're in the midst of planning our big ol' A Lowcountry Wedding magazine and we thought, who better to ask than our readers, brides and vendors to help us knock it out of the park! So, if you don't mind, we'd like to put you to work!
For starters, we're want your input on how to put a little "Lowcountry" into your wedding day! Whether it's a Firefly and Lemonade, an evening wedding along the marsh or incorporating a few sweetgrass roses into your bouquet, tell us what 'A Lowcountry Wedding' means to you! Leave us a note, tweet us, or Facebook us for the chance to have your quote included in A Lowcountry Wedding mag.
Next up, we've got a styled shoot (or 2) coming up and we're looking for a few gorgeous gals to pose as our brides! Our first shoot will take place July 17th and the second will be August 6-8th. So, if you feel like having some professionals get you all dolled up, then feel free to nominate yourself, or a friend. If you're interested, please send an email to hello{at}alowcountrywed.com with the subject line ALW Model Search. Make sure to include a few photographs of yourself as well as your height.
Lastly, we've got a few deadlines coming up that we wanted to remind you of! July 19th is the last day we will be accepting real wedding submissions for publication. Real weddings must have been shot in the Lowcountry region, in and around the areas of Hilton Head, Charleston and Myrtle Beach. For additional submission details, please see below! Along with our new magazine, we've got a new media kit with affordable rates for vendors looking to work with Lowcountry brides. If you'd like to chat with us about your marketing plan to see how A Lowcountry Wedding can be beneficial to your business, shoot us an email at hello{at}alowcountrywed.com.

We're starting this beautiful Spring week with a lovely Lowcountry engagement session from Whimsey Photography by Cana. The duo kicked things off in Downtown Charleston before heading out to Folly Beach to enjoy the sunset!
