Boone Hall Plantation {Jessica + Ryan}
Jessica + Ryan tied the knot this summer at one of the Lowcountry’s most-sought after wedding venues, Boone Hall Plantation. A lively color palette of pinks and greens thoughtfully accented all of their Southern details, starting with the lovely, navy LulaKate bridesmaids dresses and continuing with the bride’s shoes, flowers, and groom’s cummerbund and bow-tie. Playing a key role in their charming Charleston wedding day were their lovable pups who were dressed to impress in studly bow-ties! Jessica arrived to the ceremony in a fairytale-style horse-drawn carriage as she strolled down the aisle lined with mason jars of local cotton. Thanks to Riverland Studios for capturing their perfect Lowcountry Wedding!

Society Hall Wedding {Jenn + Stewart}
From the open house cocktail party on Thursday to the gentlemen's skeet shoot and ladies luncheon (complete with sundresses and hats) to the seafood rehearsal dinner to the signature cocktail (with Firefly vodka), to the last song, to the farewell brunch, our guests were welcomed into our comfort zone with all the Southern elegance and hospitality we, and Charleston, could muster.
Marion's in the French Quarter {Meaghan + Loyd}
I love when two of my favorite vendors, Chancey Charm Weddings and Carolina Studios by Gillian Reinhardt, team up for a Charleston wedding, and this bad boy is bound to knock your socks off! Meaghan + Loyd said ‘I do’ in a beautiful, traditional ceremony in the heart of the Holy City at the majestic Cathedral of St. John’s the Baptist. After tying the knot, they headed over (via carriage ride, of course!) to Marion’s in the French Quarter where they celebrated the evening away with family and friends! The entire black and yellow affair was dressed in white hydrangeas, sunflowers and sweet grasses roses for that added Lowcountry touch. To top off the perfect day, the couple rode off rickshaw-style down East Bay Street!

Island House Wedding {Ashley + Drew}
Ashley & Drew were married in the beautiful First Scots Presbyterian church in downtown Charleston. The day’s celebrations continued at The Island House on John’s Island under twinkling strands of lights hung from their airy reception tent. Upon their arrival, guests were asked to sign river rocks as a nod to the bride and groom’s first anniversary. We're loving how the Lowcountry views were complimented by the modern outdoor décor. The bride chose a deep navy and soft ivory color scheme for her flowers designed by The Flower Cottage, guests’ favors, and table settings....and that gown, that gown from Gown Boutique of Charleston is stunning! An exit under a shower of rice made for a perfect ending to their enchanting Charleston wedding night. Thanks to Riverland Studios for capturing all the details!

Carolina Yacht Club Wedding {Kate + Nate}
Sometimes it’s a beautiful Lowcountry wedding venue, or an adorable Southern detail, an amazing photographer, a killer florist…I never know what will set our hearts a-flutter! But there is something about everything single one of the Lowcountry weddings that we post that we just can’t get enough. And then every once in a while, one comes along that I wish I could have been right in the middle of. You know, just jump right in the mix and party the night away, because it looked like such a good time! One of those weddings that people still rave about how much fun it was. The ones that have guests throwing back drinks, kicking off their shoes and running to the dance floor. Well, that’s exactly what this Charleston wedding photographed by Riverland Studios was all about! Even though Kate + Nate’s Carolina Yacht Club wedding is stunningly beautiful (and I know you all will go crazy pinning the details), I think the combination of such a sweet couple, their team of truly talented Charleston wedding vendors and a fun-loving guest list in the mood to celebrate, proved to be just what the doctor ordered…a big ol’ Southern wedding bash, Lowcountry-style! Seriously, some of these bridesmaids dancing are just cracking me up!

Creek Club at I'On {Kristen + Nicholas}
I know, I know! Sorry doesn’t quite make up for the complete lack of blogging that’s taken place on ALW over the past week. I was off in Boston enjoying a business-related vacay, and while I had every intention of getting a few posts in, faulty hotel internet and the pure joy of being semi-unplugged (minus instagram, you know I can’t give that up!) was kind of awesome :) So, I apologize for the abrupt pause in your daily dose of Lowcountry wedding inspiration and email response, but I’m now officially back and kicking off this week with a gorgeous Charleston wedding from the talented, Richard Bell Photography. This Bride + Groom combined a lovely pink and purple color palette with some mouthwatering ham biscuits, sweet potato fries and even some Firefly vodka for a one-of-a-kind celebration at the Creek Club at I'On!

Lowcountry Wedding {Sarah + Steven}
Since it will be a short work week, we thought we'd get things started a little early with this sweet, Charleston wedding from CM Photography. Sarah + Steven picked a gorgeous, coastal wedding venue as the backdrop for their big day. They recited their vows under the trees with quite possibly the cutest little flower girl I've ever seen. After, the newlyweds went for a stroll on the dock to capture a few breathtaking Lowcountry images before joining the guests for a lively evening!

Rice Mill Wedding {Jennifer + Adam}
I’ll be honest, before I even opened the images from Jennifer + Adam’s wedding, I knew I was going to love it. How can you not when the talented Katherine Miller Events is driving the ship?! But as I started skimming through the details, I knew I was officially head-over-heels…and it didn’t hurt the entire celebration took place at the Historic Rice Mill Building overlooking the beautiful Charleston Harbor. Branch Design Studio created soft bouquets and floral arrangement that included a mix of dahlias, succulents, peonies and dusty miller to achieve an effortlessly romantic look. For starters, if you're in the market for a knock-your-socks-off-gotta-have-it-bouquet, then I've got just what you're looking for. There's something about a tented wedding reception that just screams Southern....throw a statuesque Plantation into the mix and you've got the perfect Charleston affair! This classic stunner took place Downtown at The Wickliffe House where Jennifer Stuart Photography was on hand to capture all the gorgeous details. You can't go wrong with a Boone Hall Plantation wedding. The entire Plantation is simply majestic and who could ever complain about a Lowcountry evening on the water at the Cotton Dock!? Not this girl! Collette Mruk Photography sent over Erin + Jason's magical Charleston wedding and with every image the dreaminess just kept coming. Shannon McLeod handled the design and coordination by keeping with the rustic beauty of the venue, and with the help of OK Florist, the duo added in sweet touches of Fall.
