Citadel Beach House Wedding {Linsey + Mark}
Fia Forever Photography just won't quit! Their beautiful photography just leaves us wanting more everytime. But that's just how we like it :) They recently teamed up with a crew of talented Charleston wedding vendors to bring to life Linsey + Mark's gorgeous Citadel Beach House wedding. The couple said 'I do' in one heck of a oceanside ceremony where guests were able to put their toes in the sand. After, the newlyweds joined the crowd for a lively evening on the Isle of Palms. Their guests enjoyed Lowcountry cuisine from Crazy Dutchman Catering and treats from WildFlour Bakery! Need a little more Fia Forever in your life? Well, check out some of their past work in Amie + Jeff's Beaufort wedding and Lynsey +Steve's McCrady's Wedding!

Folly Beach {Kelly + Jacob}
I can't begin to tell you how excited I am for the things to come at A Lowcountry Wedding! We're in the process of bringing on a talented crew of interns to assist in our many project this summer and can't wait to introduce them to each and everyone of our favorite Lowcountry brides and vendors! We're starting this beautiful Spring week with a lovely Lowcountry engagement session from Whimsey Photography by Cana. The duo kicked things off in Downtown Charleston before heading out to Folly Beach to enjoy the sunset!

Dunes West Wedding {Catherine + Jeremy}
We're knee-deep in wedding season and we couldn't be more excited about all the gorgeous Lowcountry weddings that have been rolling across our desk. There's *almost* too much pretty to share! With the help of Ashley Nicole Events, Catherine + Jeremy married this past Fall at the lovely Dunes West in Charleston, South Carolina. Catherine's mother-in-law designed all of her bouquets, boutonnieres and the dreamy shabby chic decor with a southern beach twist! Thanks to Grace Hill Photography for capturing all the beautiful details.
Charleston {Lindsay + Pat} Boone Hall Plantation Wedding
After seeing the mix of talented Charleston wedding vendors that were involved in Lindsay + Pat's Southern affair, before I even glanced at the pictures, I knew it would be a perfect fit for A Lowcountry Wedding. The adorable couple dated for 10 years before tying the knot at one of my favorite venues, Boone Hall Plantation (the place they said they'd get married when they were sixteen years old)! The duo hand-selected the talented Stephanie Gibbs of Sweet Grass Events to incorporate a handful of sweet, personal details as she whipped up their elegant Southern celebration. Luckily for us, Shannon Michele Photography was on hand to capture all the lovely details and some seriously swoon-worthy portraits. But to be honest, I secretly want to throw on Lindsay's dreamy, Jean's Bridal gown and prance around the grounds of Boone Hall with that beautiful pink bouquet. Picture perfect Boone Hall Plantation wedding.

Harbour Club Wedding {Jenny + Jim}
For the sake of everything taking place in the Lowcountry this weekend, I’m crossing my fingers that the weatherman’s right and we’ll be knee deep in some sunny, Spring weather! To cap off this first week in April, we’re bringing you a Downtown Charleston wedding at the one-and-only Harbour Club photographed by Kayla Jones Photography. Jonny Cosmetics made sure the bride and her maids were all dolled, while Charleston Flower Market created heavenly bouquets of sunflowers and calla lilies.
Charleston Weddings {Lace Inspiration}
I interned for Spoleto Festival one summer (years ago!), so when Reese Moore Wedding Photography shot over this jaw-dropper, I think I squealed. The Spoleto Festival Headquarters is located in Downtown Charleston on 14 George Street and as you can see, the building is just magnificent. Now, pair one-heck of a backdrop with a crazy cast of Charleston wedding vendors and you get this lavish lace inspiration shoot designed by Fabulous Fete. The beautiful model was outfitted in a dreamy Kira Elizabeth original that was complemented with delicate flowers from WildFlowers Inc., an elegant cake from Elaine's Event and stunning stationery from Open House. Go ahead, get your pin on!
Charleston Wedding Events {The NotWedding}
We’ve been anxiously awaiting the day when our friends at The NotWedding would grace us with their presence and, finally, they’ve answered our prayers! They’ve teamed up with the crew at Good Food Catering to host their first ever event in Charleston at the Historic Rice Mill Building this summer on June 13th! For those of you who have never had the pleasure of attending, this is a bridal event you don’t want to miss!
Complete with a sit-down dinner, an emotional ceremony and a dance-party reception, The NotWedding has become a killer alternative to a bridal show. The hand-selected vendors perform their services as they would at a real wedding, and the “wedding guests” get to hear the music, taste the cakes, and smell the flowers… while enjoying a night of great food, dancing and surprises, leaving brides-to-be saying “I want my wedding to be just like that!”.
Want to join the party? We thought you’d say ‘YES’!

Lowcountry Wedding {Lyndy + Justin}
It might be that gorgeous hydrangea bouquet, the touches of burlap or even that dainty, lace gown that has me in a tizzy, but this beautifully photographed Charleston wedding from Ava Moore Photography makes me smile from ear-to-ear. Their rustic details immediately made me feel at home and all I wanted to do was join in the celebration! Guests stood under the Oaks and sipped on cool beverages as Lyndy + Justin tied the knot in an intimate, Lowcountry wedding ceremony. After, the crew enjoyed dinner on the lawn as dreamy, rose centerpieces with pops of baby's breath graced the tables. If I had to guess, the laid-back affair perfectly suited this adorable couple! Simply stunning!!

Founders Hall Wedding {Kristen + David}
The talented crew over at Pure Luxe Bride teamed up with Monika Gauthier Photography for a New Year's Eve wedding that is sure to knock your socks off! This dreamy, wintry affair took place on Charlestowne Landing at Founders Hall and was filled with an abundance of must have details, starting with that gorgeous bouquet from WildFlowers Inc.! Not a bad way to ring in the New Year, eh?
Legare Waring House Wedding {Brookley + Jeffrey}
I've been dying to share Brookley's Charleston wedding at the stunning Legare Waring House and I feel like today is the perfect day! Since they decided on a destination wedding, the couple took their time planning every intimate detail and, with the help of Declaration Boutique, it sure shows! I particularly LOVE those adorable, South Carolina pillows that graced the patio chairs. Too cute! Brookley wowed in timeless lace gown by Allure Bridals while the men rocked classic black tuxedos. The sweet couple said 'I do' in a romantic, outdoor ceremony under the Oaks as officiant, Christy Loftin, pronounced them husband and wife. The crowd celebrated with Lowcountry cuisine from Cru Catering, cake from D'lish and the tunes of Palmetto Soul! Thanks to King Street Studios for capturing all the wonderful details!
Rice Mill Wedding {Jennifer + Adam}
I’ll be honest, before I even opened the images from Jennifer + Adam’s wedding, I knew I was going to love it. How can you not when the talented Katherine Miller Events is driving the ship?! But as I started skimming through the details, I knew I was officially head-over-heels…and it didn’t hurt the entire celebration took place at the Historic Rice Mill Building overlooking the beautiful Charleston Harbor. Branch Design Studio created soft bouquets and floral arrangement that included a mix of dahlias, succulents, peonies and dusty miller to achieve an effortlessly romantic look. Thanks to Good Food Catering, their guests dined on a plethora of delicious hors d’oeuvres that highlighted the bride’s Mexican heritage. A Paella and COAST Taco Station topped off an already amazing menu! Thanks to Charlotte Elizabeth Photographer for capturing this memorable Lowcountry Wedding!

Boone Hall Engagement {Lynsey + Ryan}
Lynsey + Ryan currently reside in Hawaii but are heading back to the Holy City this Fall to say 'I do'. On a recent trip back to the East Coast, the adorable duo met up with the talented crew from Hyer Images to engage in a session for the record books! Unbeknownst to them, they headed over to Boone Hall Plantation on the eve of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynold's Lowcountry wedding, and to say security was tight was an understatement! But lucky for us, they were able to squeeze in a few dreamy images just for our pinning pleasure :) Can't wait for their big ol' Charleston wedding!

Charleston Bridals {Joanne}
We love when our friends at Richard Bell Photography send over their latest work. Their timeless approach always has us weak-in-the-knees and Joanne's bridal session is the perfect example! Joanne is absolutely stunning. The epitome of a Southern bride, she's graceful and effortless while her style is simply chic. Check back this afternoon to catch a peek of Joanne's Charleston wedding at the South Carolina Aquarium!

Joe Riley Stadium Engagement {Billie & Nick}
Oh, ladies! We're kicking this week off in style with a sweet Charleston engagement session from Taylor Rae Photography. For any of you who call Charleston home, then spending an afternoon/evening at a Riverdogs game is something we all enjoy (Thirsty Thursday, anyone?), so it probably wasn't a big surprise that I was super excited to see that Billie + Nick chose Joe Riley Stadium as the backdrop for the engagement session. It's just perfect!
The story of how they met via Taylor Rae Photography: "Nick worked at a bar that Billie used to go to frequently, as she worked next door. The first time she came in, she ordered this Sam Adam’s Cherry Wheat, not knowing what else to get. Now, Nick thought Billie was super cute (duh, who wouldn’t?) and thought, “hmm, I should remember this drink for when she comes in again! Brilliant!” So he did. And for the next 3 months, every time he saw Billie walk through the door, he grabbed a Cherry Wheat and had it opened when she sat down. It took poor Billie 3 whole months to admit to Nick that she really didn’t like the beer! He tried it, and said, “Yeah, you’re right…that’s probably the worst beer I’ve ever tasted…” But at that point it didn’t matter because he stole Billie’s heart :)"
