Folly Beach Wedding {Lauren + Mark} Riverland Studios

I thought today might be a good day to escape this dreary, winter weather and head to the breezy shores of Folly Beach where Lauren and Mark tied the knot this past September.  Casual, intimate and understated, it  was a Charleston destination wedding done right!  I'm loving Lauren's coastal color palette, cheerful bouquets and her relaxed wedding day hairstyle created by Ash and Co. Bridal Hair and Make up.  Her bridesmaids donned turquoise bridesmaids dresses that were paired with adorable bouquets with Gerber daises.  To end the evening, the couple and their guest sent off beautiful wish lanterns into the lovely Lowcountry sky!   Thanks to Caroline of Riverland Studios for a capturing this beautiful, Folly Beach wedding!

Downtown Charleston Engagement {Patrick Hall Photography}

I've said it before and I'll say it again...I love a good engagement session.   Especially one that takes place in the land we love the most! What could be better than spending the afternoon with your sweetheart and a talent like Patrick Hall Photography to capture your pre-wedding bliss?  This adorable couple enjoyed a lovely late Spring afternoon in shorts as they gallivanted around the peninsula.  This downtown Charleston engagement session is chock-full of sweet, frame-able images as the couple tours the historic Holy City and The Battery!  Thanks to Charleston wedding vendor, Patrick Hall Photography for sharing!

Marion Square Wedding {Leah + Brian}

To finish off this fabulous, Southern Wedding Sunday, we've got an intimate, Marion Square affair for you to gawk over!  Leah + Brian kept things simple and romantic.  She wore a beautiful, strapless gown with a killer, orchid bouquet, while her husband-to-be was dapper in his dress blues.  They said 'I do' in a small, outdoor ceremony and then joined their friends and family at the Embassy Suites for an evening of celebration!  Thanks to the lenses of Whimsey Photography by Cana for capturing all this stunning Charleston wedding!

Creek Club at I'On wedding {Jenny + David}

Since it's Sunday Funday in the Lowcountry, we've decided to shower you with a few of our favorite Southern weddings.  This darling gem comes to us from Reese Moore Weddings and was shot at one of our favorite Charleston wedding venues, Creek Club at I'On.  Guests were welcomed to the reception by the cheerful sounds of The Plantation Singers and fresh, Carolina peaches in wicker and burlap baskets.  They sipped on specialty drinks in mason jars, engaged in a casual game of cornhole and dined on authentic, Lowcountry cuisine.  We're talking about a delicious dose of barbecue, mac and cheese and buttermilk cornbread!   They bid farewell to their guests in a classic sparkler exit before hopping in a boat to end the night!

Wando Farms Wedding {Lydia + Clay}

I had a hard time choosing what pictures to use for this beauty from Fia Forever Photography because in every shot blushing bride Lydia is completely elated.  It's just too lovely not to share.  Lydia + Clay got hitched in Mt. Pleasant, at the charming Wando Farms, in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony.  Later, the couple and their guests slipped on their dancing shoes for the perfect evening under the Lowcountry stars.  Charleston wedding vendor, Ooh! Maddison Rown + Bella Bridesmaid Event

Wild Dunes Wedding {Chris + Katie}

If you’ve never ventured out to Wild Dunes Resort you simply must plan a trip.  It makes you feel like you’re in your own perfect, little world and, from the looks of it, that’s exactly how Chris + Katie felt on their wedding day.  The adorable twosome were the epitome of a gorgeous Southern couple.  Chris looked looked dapper and relaxed in a tan suit and pale pink tie combo, while Katie looked effortless in a sweet, strapless lacy number.  The couple corralled some of the most sought after Charleston wedding vendors to pull off their preppy, Lowcountry wedding, and I’m certain you’ll go crazy over every single detail.  For starters, how fab are those Save the Dates and the dreamy bouquets from Ooh! McCrady's Wedding {Bridgette + Asher}

Oh, lawd!  We’ve got a dreamy Charleston wedding at a Downtown gem, McCradys, from Jenna Marie Photography.  The sweet couple (and seriously, aren’t the presh?) compiled a talented team of Charleston wedding vendors to pull off this one-of-a-kind celebration!  The bridesmaids were dressed in sky blue frocks that were adorned with fabulously feminine bouquets from Branch Design Studio, that I am just dying over.  What I really love is how the ladies of Sweet Grass Social Event & Design nailed the entire reception.  The gals pulled in a chic yellow chevron pattern to  bring the entire soiree together.

Charleston Engagement {Katie + TJ}

Bride-to-be Katie recently submitted her gorgeous engagement session from Charleston wedding vendor Amy Prikazsky Photography, and I quickly fell madly in love.  Not only are Katie and TJ the epitome of adorable, but Katie clearly nailed her Fall, attire selections.  I would highly recommend any Lowcountry lady taking some style pointers from Miss Katie.  Every outfit was effortless and I love how she added in pops of color and a few timeless, statement pieces.  With an engagement session this perfect, we can't wait to feast our eyes on their upcoming wedding!

A group of talented Charleston wedding vendors recently teamed up for a chic, plum inspired shoot overlooking the Cooper River Bridge, and the images from Reese Moore Photography will leave you weak-in-the-knees!  The purple perfection took place at one of our favorite Charleston wedding venues, Harborside East, and allowed for a picturesque, backdrop of the Charleston Harbor.  The ladies of Fabulous Fete were the masterminds behind the whole design.  They dreamed up a plum evening with ombre touches complete with a modern cake from The Cake Stand, sleek sequined pillows in varying shades of purple and orchids, lots of dreamy orchids!

Folly Beach Engagement {Heidi + Stacy}
