Last, but certainly not least, I'm excited to share the beautiful styled shoot Megan of Mingle created this past summer at Marion's in the French Quarter which was included in our premier issue of A Lowcountry Wedding Mag! Megan was kind enough to invite us a long to enjoy the styling of the great Mingle minds, photography from Paige Winn Photo and dreamy gowns from Maddison Row! Thanks to Paperdolls Hair & Makeup transforming model Katie into the picture-perfect Charleston Bride. First Bloom of Charleston whipped vibrant bouquets and centerpieces while Limos for Less let us ride in style! Fashion Editorial {RiverOaks} A Lowcountry Wedidng Magazine
When the wheels started churning for the premier issue of A Lowcountry Wedding, I realized we had to knock it out of the park with our fashion editorial. Like, OUT. OF. THE PARK...and I think we did! We were blessed to have the amazing Angela Cox Photography join us (she's seriously a dream) along with the seriously talented Ashley of Ash and Co. Bridal. Not to mention, we had the privilege of calling RiverOaks home on that steaming hot August morning! Our gorgeous Bride Katie rocked gowns from a few of our favorite establishments including Kira Elizabeth Designs, Maddison Row and LulaKate, along with jewels from Moon & Lola and Candy Shop Vintage!

Charleston Wedding Winter Fashion {Zero George}
A few weeks ago, thanks to the hospitable ladies of Easton Events, I had the pleasure of spending an evening knee-deep in Charleston wedding fashion (just how I like it!) at the lovely Zero George. If you’ve never moseyed on over to the quaint hotel on the corner of George and East Bay, you’re simply missing out. It’s effortlessly luxurious vibe made me feel like I had stumbled upon a little hidden secret in the heart of the Holy City. It was the perfect backdrop to enjoy a collection of swoon-worthy gowns from Maddison Row and their dreamy counterparts from Bella Bridesmaid. Charleston Events Hair and Makeup finished the off the looks with show-stopping hair and makeup while Sara York Grimshaw designed elegant arrangements throughout. As always, thanks to the talented Virgil Bunao for capturing all the pretty!

Getting their start in Virginia, they've recently decided to grace the Lowcountry with their presence by opening up a brand, new office in Charleston, South Carolina. We couldn't be more excited with this top-notch addition to our squad of Charleston wedding vendors and we're about to show you why! They joined forces with Gayle Brooker for a garden party inspired shoot at the stunning William Aiken House and if I had to guess, you'll be pinning away at all the prettiness!

Last week, the creative geniuses of Maddison Row and Bella Bridesmaid teamed up for 'The Art of the Dress' event and treated all of their guests to an evening of luxe bridal heaven. The soiree took place at the gorgeous Rebekah Jacob Gallery and the fabulous Dana Cubbage Photography was their to capture the crazy beauty. So, needless to say when we heard last week that Maddison Row will be hosting a Heidi Elnora trunk show on June 17th and 18th, we thought it sounded like a match made in Lowcountry Heaven. Not only will Charleston brides have the opportunity to check out the new 2011 Heidi Elnora collection (see below), but they'll also have the opportunity to meet the sweet designer herself.
We caught a glimpse of Heidi's designs this spring when she was the featured designer at Charleston Fashion Week's Bridal Show and we've been patiently waiting for her return to Charleston ever since! Her 2011 collection provides Southern Belles with dreamy, feminine gowns complete with that Lowcountry ease...
