Sea Island Wedding {Catherine + Josh}

You know I love when I get to take my ALW faithful for a little day trip down to my home state of Georgia, especially when we make a beeline right for the magical Sea Island.  With Events by Caroline behind the wedding wheel, Catherine + Josh tied the knot in elegant, outdoor ceremony overlooking the water, in what appears to be a Lowcountry afternoon that most gals dream of.  To celebrate, the couple joined their wedding guests for a tented evening under the stars where the gals at Garden on the Square created superbly Southern floral arrangements of hydrangeas and baby’s breath to grace the tabletops.  With a welcoming ocean breeze, Guest relaxed in a lovely outdoor lounge area and dined on a feast of Southern cuisine, including roasted quail, before kicking off their shoes and hopping on the dance floor to enjoy the sounds of The Swinging Medallions.  Thanks to the wonderful Donna Von Bruening for capturing this swoon-worthy Sea Island Wedding!  Oh, and yes, that is a real fish cake!

Reid Barn Wedding {Marcy + Chris}

It's been a minute since we properly celebrated Southern Wedding Sunday, so I figured if we were going to bring it back we really needed to do it with a bang...and Marcy + Chris's Reid Barn wedding is the definition of a bang!  This beauty has made me fall in love for an orange and purple color palette like I never thought I could...partially thanks to Bedazzled Flower Shop for those ah-mazing bouquets.  Designed by Signature Weddings & Events, their rustic details in the North Georgia Mountains are sure to make you get your pin on!  For their intimate ceremony, the aisle was flanked with bare branches and the rafters were draped with whimsical ribbons in shades of blush.  After, guests celebrated the night away with homemade whoopie pies and mason jar filled drinks!  Thanks to Brita Photography for sharing all the beautiful Southern details!

Janelle + Brian {Georgia Wedding}

  It's another rainy day in Charleston and while I really didn't feel like getting out of bed this morning, we do have some really exciting news to share.  It's no secret that Charleston is consistently ranked one of the country's top Wedding destinations but yesterday Conde Nast  Traveler Magazine ranked the Holy City as America's Top Travel Destination...impressive, huh?  Today we're sharing Janelle + Brian's rustic Georgia wedding from Jenn and Travis Photography.  The couple selected a scenic North Georgia venue to hold their intimate outdoor ceremony.  Following their nuptials, they moved the party inside to The Barn at High Point Farms in Flinstone, Georgia where they celebrated with family and friends and enjoyed the perfect scenery.
