Purple McCrady's Wedding by Carolina Photosmith
Amber and Jensen returned to their Carolina roots when they planned their destination wedding in Charleston, South Carolina. The couple currently calls California home and brought their relaxed, fun style to the East coast for a beautiful garden wedding ceremony in the heart of Holy City at the Confederate Home. Amber stunned in a fitted gown with a sweetheart neckline while her maids donned one-shouldered purple dresses. After saying 'I do', the couple and their bridal party hopped aboard a trolley to start the celebration. Mimi Nicole Events designed dreamy bouquets full of luscious white peonies with a romantic pop of pale purple. The reception kicked off with a luxurious seated dinner in the Long Room at McCrady's before guests dance the night away. Thanks to Carolina Photosmith for capturing such a lovely McCrady's Wedding!

Gray Unitarian Church + Mills House Wedding by Carolina Photosmith
This past Easter weekend's rainy weather wasn't quite up to my Springtime standards, but it looks like we'll be making a sunny rebound in the days to come. Despite the rainy start to Tiffany + Jay's Mills House wedding day, the end result was a Lowcountry bash that we couldn't wait to share! The sweet couple hails from New Jersey but decided a Charleston destination wedding would tickle their fancy. The afternoon started with a traditional ceremony at the historic Unitarian Church where the bridesmaids donned gray bridesmaids dresses and the men wore classic tuxedos. Guests headed to the Mills House Hotel for an evening of celebration where they found beautifully designed centerpieces with pale pink flowers and succulents from First Bloom. Thanks to Carolina Photosmith for capturing all the details!

Shaylan & Joshua's Magnolia Plantation and Gardens Engagement by Carolina Photosmith
Cypress Gardens {Claire+ Edward}
It happens all the time. A Lowcountry Wedding photographer sends over a fabulous, new submission and as I drool over all the swoonworthy images, I think to myself, 'Can this be me. please?' Now, maybe it's the fact that the South Carolina coast is filled with hundreds of dreamy backdrops, perfect for any wedding or engagement session, or maybe it's because the Lowcountry is home to way too many incredibly talented Charleston wedding vendors - there's no telling! All I know is that it makes my job of sharing the best of the best oh-so easy. Charleston wedding photographer, Carolina Photosmith met up with Claire and Edward at Cypress Gardens as they paddled around for an afternoon of romance. As usual, I wish I could photo shop myself right in the mix!
DeBordieu Club Wedding {Liz + Andrew}
You can't go wrong with a Lowcountry wedding at the Debordieu Club, photographed by Carolina Photosmith, and designed by Della Ramsey. As if that weren't enough, add in flowers by Blossoms Events and you've got a heavenly mix of South Carolina's most-sought after wedding vendors for Liz + Andrew's preppy, Southern wedding. Liz was breathtaking in a delicate, one-shoulder, lace Ulla-Maija gown that perfectly complimented Andrew's suit and classic bow tie. The entire event was outfitted with a vibrant, citrus palette that allowed for fun pops of color and effortlessly, chic details.
