We're off to celebrate the Holidays with our wonderful family and friends and while the weather here in Charleston has been a consistent 70-ish degrees for the past what feels like forever, I'm kind of dying for some cold weather to get a little more in the Christmas-y spirit, and if I could get some snow...well, that would just be about perfect.    So while I keep daydreaming about Southern Weddings and snow, y'all can check out Jillian's winter bridal session from Pasha Belman Photography.  It took place in Asheville, one of my favorite Southern cities, and it is so stinkin' beautiful I almost can't stand it.  So to all of our favorite ALW readers, we are so thankful for your support and we wish you the happiest of Holidays.  Here's to 2014!

Southern Wedding {Jodi + Jack} Capital City Club

Y'all, I've been dying to feature this glamorous Southern wedding but all this 70 degree weather just hadn't allowed for it!  But today I just couldn't take it anymore and decided the time had come to bless you with this gorgeous Atlanta bash from Scobey Photography.  Bride Jodi wore a stunning strapless gown she topped with a luxurious fur while the men wore classic tuxedos.  After a traditional church ceremony, guests made their way to beautiful Capital City Club where guests dined and danced the night away!

Nautical Wedding {Sue + Brian} The Boathouse

It's time to dive in to Southern Wedding Sunday and it's only fair to kick things off with this nautical wedding from our friend and Charleston Wedding Vendor Dana Cubbage!  I'm quite certain it will have you daydreaming about the coast...and Sue's stunning gown!  Thanks to Dana for sharing all the dets...

"Sue + Brian chose beautiful Beaufort, North Carolina for their destination wedding and it was the perfect place for them to celebrate their marriage with family + friends. In town early to get comfortable and relax before the big day, Sue + Brian had plenty of time to spend with everyone who traveled into town to celebrate with them. From sailing trips to beach days to a casual BBQ rehearsal dinner on the water, together with their friends + family, Sue + Brian had a week to remember leading up to their big day.

Rain threatened the area, but Mother Nature was surely looking out for them, as there was not a drop of rain on their wedding day. Everything about their day spoke to their amazing relationships with their family + friends. Sue's sister did everyone's hair + makeup as well as made custom necklaces for all of the bridesmaids. Brian's father acted as Best Man, while both of Sue's sisters served as bridesmaids. The relationship between them all was incredible to watch and so much fun to document

Sue's stunning Pronovias wedding gown stole the show and the bridesmaids looked amazing in their navy Monique Lhuillier dresses. Beautiful yellow + white flowers complimented the day's decor and the venue was simply decorated in navy, yellow + white hues. Their ceremony took place in a beautiful old church in Beaufort, which was filled with such charm. After the ceremony, the family + bridal party rode around town on a trolley for photos. It was a really fun time and everyone was thrilled to celebrate Sue + Brian's marriage!

Tear-inducing toasts, emotional parent dances, and the cutting of the cake - which was made by Sue's mom! - all helped round out this family-inspired celebration. It was a beautiful day that proved you don't have to spend a million bucks on decor and frills in order to have an amazing wedding. Family, friends, and genuine love reigned supreme for Sue + Brian, and I'm truly honored to have been chosen to document all of that for them!

Coastal Wedding Engagement {Krystin + Zeke}

While prepping for next week, I rolled across a gorgeous coastal engagement session from CivicPhotos and I knew the time had come to share it!  Krystin + Zeke spent a relaxed afternoon down by the marina where they moseyed around the pier and enjoyed eachother's company.  For any Lowcountry lady that has a hankering for an engagement session down by the water, then you won't want to miss this one...

Southern Wedding {Erin + Cheston}

I'm in the process of recovering from one heck of a crazy week that ended with yesterday's Bridge Run, so I figured since the soreness has kicked in and it looks like I'll be stuck to the couch for a bit, the least I could do is treat you to a dreamy Southern wedding.  Maybe two if you're lucky!  This Spring beauty comes to us straight from Texas at the Ranch at San Patricio.  Erin + Cheston were able to incorporate beautiful flowers to achieve a romantic evening with plenty of oh-so fabulous vintage details.  Thanks to Studio Eleven Photography for capturing all the loveliness!

New Orleans Wedding {Ginger + Chris}

Oh, y'all....we've got a Southern Wedding Sunday on deck that is going to have you pinning your pretty little hearts out!  First up is one of our favorite destination photographers, the great Meg Baisden Photography, who made the trip to the Windsor Court Hotel to capture Ginger + Chris's luxurious, New Orleans wedding.  With the help of Second Line Weddings & Events, the couple went with timeless details for their black tie affair by dressing the men in classic, black tuxedos, the bridesmaids in evening gowns and the tables draped in silver linens with an abundance of dreamy roses and hydrangeas from Kim Starr Wise Floral Events.  Oh, and of course, candlelight.  Ah-mazing!

Southern Wedding {Jenny + Daniel}

If you're anything like me, you spent most of yesterday obsessing over some very important college football games.  Luckily for my team, after their win against Auburn last night, my Georgia Bulldogs will be making another trek to Atlanta to play for the SEC Championship :)  So, before my husband takes over the TV and gets down to business with his fantasy football team this afternoon, I thought I could provide you with some Southern wedding loveliness from Alabama wedding photographer, Erin Lindsey Images.  This stunning May ceremony took place at the Roundhouse Depot in Downtown Huntsville and ended with a beautiful rustic reception adorned with whimsical lanterns that you will just love!

We're going to load you up with a whole heap of fabulous-ness on today's Southern Wedding Sunday...and let's just say you better be ready for this beauty from Meg Baisden Photography.  Chelsey + Mikal tied the knot in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida at Eden Gardens State Park in a stunning, outdoor ceremony under the grandeur of the Old Southern Oaks.  Shelby Peaden Events and Myrtie Blue teamed up for an exceptional, tented reception filled with gorgeous chandeliers and amazing flowers in shades of green, blue and white.

Southern Wedding {Ashlie + Mark}

While the boys are knee-deep in fantasy football today, we're going to celebrate Sunday with a beautiful Southern wedding in Lebanon, Tennessee from Evin Photography.  The couple chose the bride's parent's home for the event which featured a quaint, private garden that was perfect for their outdoor ceremony.  They said 'I do' on a perfect Spring day in May under a beautiful wisteria arch.  After, they joined guests for a tented reception on the property where guests were treated to an elegant evening under the stars.  They complimented their purple and green color palette with touches of birch wood and stunning wooden chandeliers throughout their reception.

Pepper Plantation Wedding {Brittany + Tim }

You're going to die over this charming, Lowcountry wedding at the Pavilion at Pepper Plantation.  Designed by Winship Productions, every ounce of Brittany + Tim's Charleston wedding is so stinkin' cute I can barely stand it!  The bridesmaids were dressed in icy, blue LulaKate dresses matched with vibrant, pink peony bouquets from Branch Design Studio (that will make you melt!), while the men sported classic tan suits.  I have to say this might be one of my favorite bridal parties ever.  Not only do I love everything about their attire, but they were clearly ready to have a good time.  The group shots Reese Moore Photography captured after the ceremony are just priceless.  At the reception, Brittany kicked up her cowboy boots as guests dined on delicious Lowcountry cuisine before enjoying tasty treats from the surprise ice cream truck!   At the end of the evening, the newlyweds jumped in their antique car and jetted away!

Bridal Portraits {Abish}

In one word, Abish is stunning.  Her bridal portrait session at Utah Lake is sure to make all of you swoon.  The bare backdrop combined with Abish's s blush colored bouquet, mint green heels and her breathtaking natural beauty makes for a warm, romantic session that has me dying to see how gorgeous she looked on her wedding day!
