We're gearing up for a festive Thanksgiving week with family & friends but before we head out for the week, we've got a few more treats for our favorite Lowcountry brides. For starters, mark your calendars, pre-orders for A Lowcountry Wedding Magazine start in December (yay!) and we also have a handful of ad spots left, so feel free to contact us at hello{at}alowcountrywed.com for additional information. We will FINALLY be launching our new vendor section of the website which has taken FOREVER, but it will be a huge help in connecting you with some of our favorite talented vendors. In the meantime, we've thought we'd share Maria & Kyle's sweet SC Aquarium wedding planned by the ladies of Breeze and captured by the wonderful Taylor Rae Photography. We're loving the soft color palette of pinks and greens, gorgeous florals from Branch Design Studio and Bride Maria's stunning strapless gown!

South Carolina Aquarium Wedding {Erika + Logan}
I've become kind of a pro at determining which Southern wedding details our readers will go crazy over, and I'm pretty positive that these wonderful Summer bouquets fromWildflowers Inc. will be a huge pinterest hit! Erika + Logan's sweet Charleston wedding was filled with love, laughter and lots of color and, lucky for us, Monika Gauthier Photography was on hand to capture all the adorable details. The duo tied the knot in an intimate outdoor ceremony before heading over to the South Carolina Aquarium for one heck of a celebration complete, with a stunning Jim Smeal creation!

DIY Centerpieces
We've got a big week on the horizon at A Lowcountry Wedding! For starters, we'll be teaming up with a crew of crazy, talented Charleston wedding vendors for a nautical-inspired shoot at the South Carolina Aquarium that is going to knock. your. socks. off. On Thursday, you'll find us at The NotWedding with some of South Carolina's finest wedding vendors as we treat Lowcountry brides to an evening full of inspiration at the beautiful Rice Mill Building, but in the meantime, Blake is showering you with some easy, yet impactful, do-it-yourself centerpieces.
.
I just love the idea of using vintage bottles as flower centerpieces. You can use different sizes, shapes, and colors. There are so many things you can do with them and they just look so cute!
If you want to add a pop of color you can do it yourself! All you have to do is pour paint on the inside of the vase and swirl around to coat. So easy!

South Carolina Aquarium {Joanne + Seth}
Hopefully, you caught Joanne's timeless bridal session this morning and have been anxiously anticipating her gorgeous South Carolina Aquarium wedding ever since! The couple married this past October and incorporated a few of my favorite Charleston wedding venues into their big ol' Lowcountry affair! Joanne + Seth + crew prepped for the evening at the charming Meeting Street Inn before heading over to the parade deck at the Citadel to catch a few shots. They then said 'I do' in a romantic evening ceremony at the Summerall Chapel. The celebration continued at the South Carolina Aquarium where guests enjoyed Lowcountry cuisine from Hamby Catering & Events!
