High school sweethearts, Jessica and Josh, wanted a fresh, vintage garden theme for their Savannah wedding day. With the help of Morgan Gallo Events, the couple selected a whimsical color palette of peach, mint and gold. The tables were adorned with charming centerpieces of hand-painted wine glasses filled spring flowers. The bride's bouquet, created by Kato Floral Designs, included sweetgrass roses, peach hypericum berries, and peach roses while the bridesmaids toted petite sweetgrass rose bouquets. Being a black hawk pilot in the Army, Josh and his fellow Army groomsmen worse their traditional ASU uniforms. Their outdoor ceremony was held in Savannah's Forsyth Park with the backdrop of a fountain and beneath historic oaks. The couple celebrated with guests at the American Legion Post 135 until their sparkler departure and getaway on a wedding pedicab. About the couple from Priscilla Thomas Photography: "Josh describes himself as super outgoing and goofy, whereas Jessica is little more reserved and soft spoken. They say they balance each other out and have common interests in music, traveling, anything outdoorsy, hiking, kayaking, paddle-boarding, and of course their shared love for their dog, Murphy. Josh proposed at his flight school graduation when Jessica went on stage to "pin" his new wings onto his uniform. Their proposal occurred on stage in front of his family, friends, instructor pilots, and the entire audience. As Jessica explained, "It was completely unexpected, especially since we're both the type of people to keep things laid-back and casual. It was such an awesome day!"
