Summertime at A Lowcountry Wedding always brings exciting new announcements and this summer is no different! For starters, we're currently working on a brand spankin' new website, adding some lovely ladies to the ALW mix and one more secret that I just can't share yet, but, as always, you're unwavering support is oh-so appreciated. We're finishing off the week with a gorgeous Charleston elopement at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens from our friends at Riverland Studios.
From Riverland Studios: "Mari & Neil eloped earlier this week at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens! They met at a wedding a few years ago and stayed in touch despite living on opposite coasts. Last year, Neil popped the question and the two began planning for a destination wedding in Charleston. After a few stressful months of long-distance coordination, Mari & Neil decided to ditch their original plans and elope! Mari told us, “We just want to make a commitment to each other, with nothing getting in the way.” With the help of Magnolia’s Jessica Cruz, they found the perfect spot to hold their intimate elopement. Christy Loftin performed a sweet and personal ceremony for the two under the gazebo on the white bridge lawn. Mari looked gorgeous in her mustard top, cream tulle skirt, and colorful jeweled accessories. Neil was also dressed to impress- we love his unique dried flower boutonniere! After exchanging vows the two explored the gardens and conservatory, stopping for some wedding day portraits along the way. There was no stress, no complications, just love."
