From the photographer: “Georgia couple Ally and Tim wanted a destination beach getaway wedding at the Westin Resort & Spa in Hilton Head Island. The couple wanted guests to partake in a little vacation that would be topped off with a romantic wedding ceremony and celebration. Though in love with the beachside view, Ally opted for a luxurious and whimsical design. The color palette of mauve with accents of white, purple, and pink created a soft and whimsical atmosphere. Tablescapes incorporated these hues in the flowers with various roses, cafe au lait dahlias, peonies, astible, and hydrangea that were placed in various shaped and sized gold metallic vases. Florals were accompanied with white taper candles and metallic votives. Specialty mauve glass goblets and gold trimmed chargers completed the table designs. Place cards were made of hand torn paper with gold calligraphy and tied with pink or white ribbon. Overhead was a large chandelier adorned with greenery, hanging roses, crystals, and oyster shells. For a sweet treat, the dessert table offered an eclectic spread that included 3 white cakes, a macaroon tower, miniature key lime pies, blush and white cake pops, and chocolate dipped strawberries. Custom napkins were inspired by a art sketch of the couple. Custom glass signage by J.Lily Design offered a welcome sign and seating chart for guests upon arriving at the ceremony on the beach view deck. The ceremony included raffia fans for each guest and a natural wood arbor with cascading flower sprays. Bridesmaids wore flower crowns and mauve gowns with mix-n-match top design thanks to Bella Bridesmaids onsite dress coordinator. For her bridal look, Ally wore a long sleeve gown with a lace overlay bodice. She kept her hair down with a partial braid to maintain that glamorous yet whimsical look. After the vows were exchanged, the couple continued the festivities into the evening before departing among an aisle of glow sticks being waved by friends and family.”
