The beauty of the Lowcountry draws destination brides and vendors from all across the country, which really works out well for us because the pretty that is created throughout the coast makes for some truly pin-able wedding inspiration. Earlier this year, Alabama-based photographer Jett Walker, made her way to Charleston with some of her talented Birmingham friends to transform the King Street venue, Upstairs at Midtown. Inspired by a rich color palette and romantic candlelight, a cornflower blue runner lined the table while lush floral centerpieces by Branch Design Studio anchored the design. An array of blue candles in gold candleholders added height to the design and a charm to the tablescape. The bride wore a dreamy off-the-shoulder gown and carried a monstrous bouquet. Her hair was swept back in the most amazing up-do by Ash and Co Bridal Hair & Makeup and boy, was it killer. The moral of the story here ladies - when faced with the question, always say yes to big hair and tons of candlelight. Thanks Jett Walker Photography, we LOVE this Upstairs at Midtown inspiration shoot.
