If I'm being honest, I think this romantic boho-inspired elopement with rustic details is one of my favorite shoots we've ever had the pleasure of featuring on A Lowcountry Wedding. It's, without a doubt, in my all-time Top 5 and I'm so thankful that Myrtle Beach based wedding photographer and designer, Corina Silva, is allowing us to share this show-stopper. The magic took place at Corina's family farm in Portland, Oregon where she designed an effortless afternoon with a color palette of grey, green, blush, blue, and shades of marsala and if you ask me, it's the ultimate combination. But what's makes this even better is that it's a family affair. Corina created this beauty - dreamy bouquet, whimsical dessert table an more - all for her oldest son and his beautiful bride-to-be. The couple wanted to elope and enlisted the help of Corina to create a simple event that would include their rescue dogs, Django and Milo and the end result couldn't be more memorable. Keeping with the bohemian vibe, the lovely bride wore a long sleeved white top with handmade grey tulle skirt and her hair pulled back in an amazing bun while her groom wore blue pants, suspenders and a blue bow tie. They continued the DIY theme with the sweets table where the cake and cupcakes were baked from scratch and then embellished with natural items from the farm like blackberries and garden roses. Our favorite part? That wonderful bouquet!
