From the photographer: "Samantha and Matthew had an intimate and casual wedding in the gazebo at White Point Gardens in the historic district of downtown Charleston. They wanted to include both of their beliefs into the ceremony; so, they had both Jewish and Christian traditions incorporated into their nuptials. After they said their vows, they took communion, and after Samantha was given her ring Matthew broke the glass and shouted “mazel tov!” When the ceremony was over, their guest started heading to cocktail hour at the Victor Social Club while the newlyweds danced around the park, and strolled down the Battery and cobblestone streets.
Samantha wore a beautiful and unique gown with a beaded sash and cap shoulders adorned with draped beading - a perfect vintage inspired gown reminiscent of the 1920s. Matthew wore a navy plaid suit with a red and white bow tie. Their elegant and timeless look was perfect for the Charleston setting. After they finished their portraits in the gardens, they joined their guest for cocktail hour. They had a few drinks and some good laughs before it was time for dinner at Michael’s On the Alley. After a delicious meal it was time for cake! They had a three tiered cake with a thin layer of frosting that was topped with blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, and white lilies on each layer. Samantha and Matthew continued to enjoy their intimate night celebrating their marriage over drinks and lots of laughs. Congratulations Samantha and Matthew!"
