James & Elizabeth's Charleston wedding was held on the grounds of James's family estate on Wadmalaw Island on April 18, 2015 where the awe-inspiring oak trees and over-sized balloons greeted guests as they arrived. Southern Chic Wedding & Events designed a beautiful Lowcountry evening where lanterns hung from the trees and beautiful florals created by Pretty Petals of Charleston showcased elegant arrangements with purple accents. James and his dapper bridal party donned locally-made Brackish Bow Ties. His bride Elizabeth wore a lovely Stella York gown she found at Gown Boutique of Charleston while the bridesmaids wore flowing Donna Morgan gowns in deep purple. The ceremony featured the sweetest ring bearer and flower girl who preciously made their way down the burlap aisle runner lined with rustic floral markers. James & Elizabeth recited their vows under a massive oak tree on the property before joining their guests for a beautiful tented reception. Thanks to Riverland Studios for capturing their Wadmalaw Island wedding and providing us with some pin-worthy material!
