We hope everyone is enjoying their Labor Day Weekend! I still can't believe that it's already September 1st. Where did the Summer go!?! Time is flying over here at A Lowcountry Wedding as we're working on our first print publication and the clock is a-ticking for Brides and Vendors to send in their real weddings! There is just one more week to submit your beautiful Lowcountry weddings. The deadline is September 5th, so send over your best for the chance to appear among the pages of ALW! The lovely coastal soirees that have been sent our way over the past few weeks are nothing short of amazing and we can't wait to reveal them at the end of the year. With weddings from Savannah, Hilton Head, Charleston and Myrtle Beach, we're positive you'll be ooh-ing and ahh-ing at our wonderful, little lookbook of Lowcountry wedding inspiration. So, vendors – if you have a wedding dripping with Southern charm, complete with an adorable couple who has a touching tale, then I reckon you need to send it straight over to our attention via Two Bright Lights or Dropbox. This first issue of A Lowcountry Wedding Magazine is gearing up to be one for the record books and we’d love for you to be a part of it! If you're interested in joining our advertising family, please send an email to erin{at}alowcountrywed.com for further details. In the meantime, we've got to keep the pretty coming, so check out this lovely Magnolia Plantation and Gardens wedding from Jennifer Priddy Photography.
From Jennifer Priddy Photography: "Ashley and Matthew are from the Triangle area in NC. They started dating while on a trip to Charleston with friends. One year later on their one year anniversary they returned to Charleston. Matthew planned a picnic at White Point Gardens and surprised Ashely with a proposal. As they planed the wedding they decided that they had to exchange vows in Charleston. They settled on a Spring Wedding at Magnolia Plantation. Ashley scoured Pinterest for ideas on how to use burlap, mason jars and wildflowers for her big day. The Long White Bridge Lawn provided the perfect setting for Ashley and Matthew's sweet ceremony. After the ceremony guests enjoyed a southern style dinner and danced the night away on the Plantation House Veranda."
