If you're a fan of Charleston weddings or a Lowcountry Bride-to-be, you've probably seen us share multiple celebrations at Boone Hall Plantation, in fact, the cover of our Summer/Fall wedding was plucked from the images of Bailey & Matt's Boone Hall wedding. The sprawling plantation combines the grandeur of the Old South with lazy views of the Horlbeck Creek, majestic oak trees and a soft, coastal breeze - a combination local and destination couples alike fall in love with. Cory & Kyle were smitten with the Mount Pleasant, South Carolina venue and booked it for their Summer wedding. As guests arrived, they were welcomed with Charleston-themed bags that included lemon cooler tea cookies and area information. They opted for a waterfront ceremony at Boone Hall's Cotton Dock where Cory stunned in a lace gown with a low back from Casablanca. Her bridesmaids complemented the evening's soft color palette in blush pink dresses from BHLDN while Kyle and his groomsmen wore grey suits. The reception played off their effortless Southern style by mixing rustic details with plush blooms and romantic accents. Centerpieces of pink peonies and peach garden roses topped the white table linens as cafe lighting and draping set the mood overhead. For dinner, guests dove into tasty Lowcountry bites including chicken and waffles and fried green tomatoes topped with pimento cheese.
