It's final the weekend and for those of you that call the Lowcountry home, my guess is you'll be enjoying the warm almost-Summer weather we have in store for us. To finish off our work week, we're wrapping things up with a laidback South Carolina wedding from the talented Anne Rhett Photography. The couple, Melanie + David, met while working at a local plantation, so when it came time to tie the knot, they knew they wanted to embrace the natural beauty of the coast. They gathered their friends and family for an intimate affair on a small island at the base of Melanie's parent's neighborhood which is only accessible by a half mile dock. Melanie wore a strapless BHLDN gown with tiered layers of lace (it was awesome) and David wore a tan suit. The two exchanged vows in a waterside ceremony as the sun began to set. Guests enjoyed the ultimate Carolina cuisine from The Pampered Palate including fresh local shrimp and boiled peanuts as they celebratedthe sweet couple.
