If you've ever been to the sleepy town of Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina then you know magical is the perfect way to describe it. Just past Johns Island and about 30 minutes from Downtown Charleston, Wadmalaw offers a laidback setting with the Spanish moss and coastal views we all dream of. So, it was no surprise that Katie + Haywood selected a private residence on the island for their backyard affair this past June. Katie wore a long flowing gown and soft up-do from Lashes and Lace Bridal Hair and Makeup and carried a sweet pink peony bouquet for the couple's outdoor ceremony. After, the celebration continued with an open-air reception complete with lawn games, vibrant summer centerpieces and Lowcountry cuisine from Tom Smith Catering.
