The Magnolia Plantation Carriage House combined southern charm and elegance for Allison + Alejandro’s big day. The bride, born and raised in Ohio, and the groom born and raised in Chile brought both American and Chilean tradition to their wedding day, starting with signature cocktails, like sangria + Chilean wine, that were flowing all night long. Dreamy flower arrangements by Gathering Event + Design had nestlings of hydrangea and peonies that adorned the tables, while greenery and soft flowers were wrapped around the wagon wheel chandeliers. Custom draping inside the doorways mixed with the soft amber up lighting, while a pink, white, and green color palette delivered a romantic atmosphere that Pure Luxe Bride designed. As guests ventured outside for the the dancing portion of reception, they were greeted with a dance floor adorned with cafe lighting and surrounded by lanterns and benches with pillows to match the overall color scheme. For a break, guests enjoyed S'mores by the fire pit, an amazing cake by Jim Smeal, and cigars. Party favors were a Chilean wedding tradition that included fun hats, beaded necklaces, boas, and other elaborate decorative objects. Towards the end of the reception, these fun party favors were passed out so that all guests could dress up in crazy costume attire and parade around the bride and groom, celebrating their marriage.
