Hopefully, by now, you've noticed our new EVENTS section of the site where we're sharing the upcoming bridal happenings from Savannah, Hilton Head, Charleston and Myrtle Beach. We thinking being engaged is an awesome time in every gal's life and we hope y'all truly take advantage of the fun events you can participate in as you plan you wedding day. So, bust out your day planners, ladies, because today we wanted to highlight on helluva an event that takes place in Charleston on January 31st - The Scarlet Wedding Tour! Oh, and we're giving away a pair of tickets. Yay!
This unique Charleston wedding event gives couples an intimate taste of what Charleston's Lowcountry vendors and the chance to experience the top venues along the coast.
The day will begin at the Charleston Harbor Resort with some light breakfast bites and a tour of their incredible spaces. Afterwards the couples will be split into groups and assigned to one of four stylish vehicles sponsored by Lowcountry Valet. After that we will begin our tours of Boone Hall Plantation, The Historic Rice Mill, and Upstairs at Midtown. There will be small bites and mini-tastings at each venue offered by some of Charleston's top catering companies. In addition to the small bites, each venue will feature an amazing, unique design by a Scarlet Planner, complete with full tablescapes, stunning floral designs by award winning designers, couture linens by La Tavola Fine Linens, custom designed paper and invitation suites, gorgeous live models in stunning wedding gowns styled to perfection by Scarlet Stylists, couture menswear by Kenneth Beatrice, cakes and live music provided by either Chucktown Wedding Bands, Ear for Music or Charleston Virtuosi and so much more!
Immediately following the tour guests are invited to the private Scarlet Afterparty at Charleston Harbor Resort where they'll have a chance to meet all the vendors behind the magic on the tour. Music by Amp'd Entertainment, dancing, cake and food tastings, Firefly Vodka cocktails, and prizes galore! Photographers Mackenzie Clark of The Click Chick Photography and Katie Capo of Catherine Ann Photography will be shooting the tour with videography by Before Your Eyes Cinematography.
