Nicole tapped the team at A Charleston Bride to help her create a garden-style affair, reminiscent of Jessica Simpson's big day, for her Lowndes Grove Plantation wedding on April 21st...and they did not disappoint. They created an enchanted evening with romantic Southern touches (how wonderful are those custom swings?) to bring her vision to life. The ceremony took place along the Ashley River where Nicole dazzled in an off-the-shoulder, lace gown from Maddison Row. Guests were seated in natural X-back chairs and, to shield them from the sun, beautiful umbrellas were placed strategically overhead. The expertly draped reception tent continued the effortless vibe with multicolored green draping, tall centerpieces of greenery and large bars with custom fabric inserts that mimicked the couples invitations. They pulled in inspiration from the Nicole & Ben's favorite restaurant in New York City, and served up a champagne, vodka and caviar station for cocktail hour. The celebration ended on the dance floor (right where it should!) as guests kicked off their shoes in favor of fun party props and hats to the tunes of The Neons. The crowd then bid adieu to the newly-minted Mr. & Mrs. as they hopped into a vintage ride from Lowcountry Valet & Shuttle Co. Thanks to Gideon Photography for snapping all the details!
