I sure do wish my good friend Pinterest was around when I was planning my Lowcountry wedding. I always felt like I could never drool over enough wedding inspiration (which may have just started my blogging obsession…who knows!), particularly some swoon-worthy bouquets. I’ve rounded up a few fabulous Summer bouquets that might be fitting for your big Southern wedding. They range from airy and whimsical to structured and sassy. Hopefully, one will be exactly what your Charleston wedding has been looking for…

I’ve been soaking up loads of wedding inspiration today and thought who better to share the fruits of my labor with then my favorite Lowcountry brides and I have a sneaky suspicion you won’t be disappointed. While I’ll always love a gorgeous Fall or Winter wedding, truth be told, I’m more of a Spring/Summer gal…and I think it has a lot to do with the seasonal blooms. It’s no secret I’m a big fan of Pinterest and over the past few weeks it’s provided me with a wealth of soft Spring and Summer bouquets that I couldn’t wait to share with you!

Lowcountry Centerpieces {Wedding Details}
I think it’s the warm weather, or maybe it’s the fact I tend to get lost in a sea of Pinterest pinning amazing one-of-a-kind centerpieces like a crazy person. Either way, now that Spring wedding season is upon us, I just had to share some of these beauties with yall. Some are pretty simple, sticking to one single element (baby’s breathe, tulips) while others are stunningly ornate. You’ll see a gorgeous array of colors, some more vibrant and others in muted spring tones. Oh, and of course we couldn’t post all of these heavenly blooms without including a few stunners from some of our favorite Lowcountry wedding vendors, (Charleston based Ooh! Events and Branch Design Studios), that will completely knock your socks off. Per usual

Nikki + Shane {Francis Marion Wedding}
This past April, Charleston was graced with a visit from the talented destination duo of Kate Botwinski Photography. The husband and wife team traveled all the way to the Lowcountry to capture the fabulous Spring wedding of Nikki + Shane. The ladies spent the morning getting all dolled up thanks to the crew at Stella Nova and the magical brushes of Andrew C. Petersen. Nikki looked flawless in her stunning Monique Lhullier gown while her husband-to-be looked dapper in his dress blues. They kicked off the perfect Saturday afternoon with a traditional Catholic ceremony at the grand Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. After saying ‘I do’, the couple hopped in a carriage for a gorgeous photo session at The Battery & White Point Gardens with their bridal party. The evening continued with a jaw-dropping reception at Downtown’s lavish Francis Marion Hotel where the newlyweds revealed a showstopping first dance that got the party started!
