Hopefully, everyone enjoyed their Lowcountry weekend, and for those of you in Charleston, hope you made a trip out to Kiawah for the PGA Championship! We’re kicking off this sleepy Monday with a sweet, Southern wedding in Clemson, South Carolina from Charleston-based wedding photographer, Lauren Jonas. Emily looked effortless in a romantic lace gown with a soft up-do and white hydrangea bouquet. Will and the rest of the guys rocked tan suits accented with purple ties and bouts.

You’ve got to admit that our Lowcountry brides have an impeccably elegant Southern style…I think they’re just born with it
So it’s no surprise they make sure their maids are dressed to the nines, as well. They keep it sophisticated with a sweet pastel color palette for a classic plantation reception or they’ll spice it up with bright, trendy patterns for an oceanside, Myrtle Beach affair. They’ll dress their Lowcountry gals in flowy, long gowns that are perfect for a relaxed Hilton Head wedding or they’ll keep it short with a sassy cocktail dress fitting of a Downtown Charleston soiree. Bottom line, stick with your oh-so-fabulous taste when choosing your bridesmaids dresses, I promise they’ll thank you for it later!
Kimberly + Neil {Middleton Place Wedding}
Today, we’ve got a big, beautiful helping of wedding fabulousness from the talented team at Richard Bell Photography. Oh, and that’s not all! Today’s couple hand selected some of Charleston’s finest wedding vendors for their classic Middleton Place affair. Kimberly + Neil were blessed with picturesque weather as they said their ‘I do’s’ in an outdoor ceremony on the lawn of the grand estate. (Just wait until you see the images of Kimberly walking down the aisle…to die for!) The celebration continued in the Pavilion which was decorated to perfection with hanging wild smilax in the rafters and twinkle lights to soften the ceiling. Kimberly was hoping for a Southern, Fall wedding but wasn’t crazy about your typical Fall colors. So, with the help of Duvall Events and Tiger Lily Weddings, they went with a rich color palette of purple mixed with white hydrangeas, green hypericum berries and touches of soft white roses. The tables were adorned with natural greenery and hydrangeas to create a floral wreath around glowing silver lanterns that set the mood for the cozy, Fall affair. The team at Duvall Events did not disappoint as they treated the guests to a stunning array of Lowcountry cuisine and tasty caramel apples!
