If you asked me the best time of the year to get married in Charleston I would say, hands down, October is the month to shoot for. Granted, January’s been pretty fab this year! By that time of the year, it’s usually cooled off a bit and you’re likely to find yourself with a gorgeous 70 degree, Lowcountry evening. Schayla + TJ choose the picturesque Pepper Plantation out in Awendaw to host their dreamy, Fall nuptials, and luckily for us, Charleston wedding vendor,CM Photography, was on hand to capture all the gorgeous details!
If I could reach through this little laptop and hug (or maybe smooch!) Sean Money + Elizabeth Fay, trust me, I would…and I have a feeling you might want to, too! The dreamy images of this Charleston wedding that you are about to see are going to make you weak-in-the-knees. The couple under the massive Oaks…completely swoonworthy. This little beauty took place at The Pavilion at Pepper Plantation and is the perfect intimate mixture of vintage and rustic. Beautiful bride Nikki incorporated beautiful jewel tones, peacock feather and DIY elements throughout and even tackled the centerpieces herself! After a stunning ceremony overlooking the water, Duvall Events treated their guests to delicious Lowcountry cuisine and out-of-this-world service.
It’s Thursday and I’m going on vacation tomorrow (sorry to rub it in!. Hopefully, I’ll be productive today…but I’m not making any promises. I’m so excited I kinda can’t stand it but I’m even more pumped to share today’s real wedding with you all. Yesterday we featured Peter + Nicole’s rustic Cotton Dock Rehearsal Dinner and today we’re following it up with their winter wedding that I’m pretty sure you’re going to fall in love with. Once again, Peter + Nicole enlisted the talents of The Daniels and Eventa Bella and, no surprise, they did not disappoint. The couple hosted their guests for an evening of live music by Charleston favorite, Plane Jane, at the picturesque Pepper Plantation,. It was the perfect backdrop for Nicole’s rustic pewter color palette, cozy lighting and of course, some cowboy boots!
