Island House Wedding {Megan + Cisco}

Bride Megan selected The Island House on Johns Island to capture the beauty and elegance of the grand, Deep South while also making sure her guests felt relaxed. They incorporated soft, delicate flowers like hydrangeas and spray roses in contrast to stunning dahlias to create a wonderful symphony of color that was breathtaking against the dreamy, Lowcountry backdrop. To honor her grandmother, they included old canning jars as vases at the reception. “If anything signified Grandma’s love the best, it was her canning!” Thanks to Wanda Cavazos of Richard Bell Photography for capturing all the beautiful moments.

Charleston Beach Wedding {Toni + Doc}

I hope everyone has enjoyed their time off! I wanted to kick off this short work week with a charming beach wedding from Charleston wedding vendor, Priscilla Thomas Photography. Toni and Doc met when Toni was a junior in high school and he was a freshman at USC. They were together throughout college but separated thereafter. In the 24 years that followed, they only saw each other once. But a few years ago they reconnected on Facebook and that led to a second chance to be together. Their wedding ceremony took place in the evening at Folly Beach by pier 1580. The family made a week long vacation out of the event by renting a beach house near the ceremony location. They opted for a simple, intimate wedding with close friends and family and classic blue details.

Since you’ve all been SO good this year, I’m treating you to an early, Christmas present from the crew at Riverland Studios to kick off your holiday weekend! This beauty took place in the heart of the Holy City at the exquisite, Charleston Place Hotel. The gals were dressed in varying shades of coral that were accessorized with punches of turquoise and gold (and they looked fabulous!), while Gloria stunned in a lace gown. After their intimate ceremony, the couple celebrated to the sounds of Easy Breezy Entertainment!

I had a hard time choosing what pictures to use for this beauty from Fia Forever Photography because in every shot blushing bride Lydia is completely elated. It’s just too lovely not to share. Lydia + Clay got hitched in Mt. Pleasant, at the charming Wando Farms, in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony.
