Pepper Plantation Wedding {Jennifer + Mike}

I’m so glad we get to close the week with this little Lowcountry gem at Pepper Plantation! Jennifer + Mike rounded up a talented group of Charleston wedding vendors to pull off their December extravaganza starting with the amazing design team at Sweetgrass Eventsand floral creations by Wildflowers Inc. Seriously, isn’t Jennifer’s bouquet is insane? They left the task of capturing all the details to the superb Virgil Bunao, while the gals from Sweetgrass Events executed everything to perfection. Tell me you don’t love every minute of this!

Wickliffe House Wedding {Caroline + Dunc}

I think I’ve started like 10 drafts of this post, maybe even more. I never thought it could be so hard to write about a couple you know, but trust me, it is! I met Caroline + Dunc through my husband when they were all starting their Master’s program at MUSC. They started off just as friends and by the winter of their second year, things had evolved into a relationship.

So, needless to say that when I found out that one of my favorite Charleston wedding vendors and member of the ALW fam, Rick Dean Photography, had captured their classic Charleston wedding, I couldn’t wait to share it with everyone! Caroline looked like a dream in her gorgeous gown, while Dunc looked dapper in a seersucker suit. The couple said ‘I do’ at Trinity United Methodist Church before celebrating the night away under the stars at the Wickliffe House.

Maddison Rown + Bella Bridesmaid Event

Last week, the creative geniuses of Maddison Row and Bella Bridesmaid teamed up for ‘The Art of the Dress’ event and treated all of their guests to an evening of luxe bridal heaven. The soiree took place at the gorgeous Rebekah Jacob Gallery and the fabulous Dana Cubbage Photography was their to capture the crazy beauty. There’s nothing more a Lowcountry girl loves than a beautiful coastline. Absolutely nothing. Which is why I’m positive any gal planning a wedding in Charleston, Hilton Head or Myrtle Beach will be head-over-heels for this effortless one year anniversary session from So Life Studios. The couple was originally married in Mobile but had recently relocated to gorgeous Destin, Florida and were dying to jump back into their wedding attire to capture some seriously frame-able shots. It was the perfect evening for them to recreate wedding day bliss.

Cassique Wedding {Jennifer + Ian}

We’re closing out the week with a visit to one of my favorite places in the Lowcountry, the one-and-only, Kiawah Island. Kiawah is a quaint, upscale coastal town only 30 minutes from Downtown Charleston, and it’s surely worth the short drive. This beauty takes place at Cassique and comes to us from a crew of talented Charleston wedding vendors. Bride Jennifer dazzled in a gorgeous strapless gown while her hair was pure perfection in an effortless half-up do. Her bridesmaids looked chic in black Jessica McClintock gowns that were accompanied fabulous orchid bouquets…and boy, do I mean fabulous! The couple said their ‘I do’s’ in a swanky, outdoor ceremony before celebrating the night away with family and friends! Thanks to Fia Forever Photography for capturing all the details…

It’s no secret that I daydream about Charleston weddings. Whether it’s a breathtaking Lowcountry plantation, a jaw-dropping bouquet or a stunning Southern bride, I love all of it. Every last single drop! Lucky for me, I know you ladies share in my obsession. I couldn’t be more excited to share this swoon-worthy bridal session at one of my favorite Charleston wedding venues, Lowndes Grove. McCrady’s Wedding {Bridgette + Asher}

Oh, lawd! We’ve got a dreamy Charleston wedding at a Downtown gem, McCradys, from Jenna Marie Photography. The sweet couple (and seriously, aren’t the presh?) compiled a talented team of Charleston wedding vendors to pull off this one-of-a-kind celebration! The bridesmaids were dressed in sky blue frocks that were adorned with fabulously feminine bouquets from Branch Design Studio, that I am just dying over. What I really love is how the ladies of Sweet Grass Social Event & Design nailed the entire reception. The gals pulled in a chic yellow chevron pattern to bring the entire soiree together.
