You know we never tire of a fabulous Lowcountry wedding around here, especially when the crazy-talented duo of Landon Jacob Productions is on-hand to capture every, single, jaw-dropping moment. When I saw this stunning Hilton Head wedding, I just knew I had to share it with our Lowcountry brides. We’ve got palmetto trees, a soft, blush color palette, a classic, coastal vibe and an adorable couple. Not a bad combination, eh? The twosome, Celia + Jeff, wed in a beautiful ceremony at the Church of Cross before a lively evening of dinner and dancing (and maybe a few glow sticks!) at the Hampton Hall Club. Celia is an absolute doll (a gorgeous doll, at that). She looked amazing in a dreamy, strapless gown that went perfectly with a smile that she sported throughout the entire event…and who could blame her!

Southern Wedding {Bailey + Chris}
It’s no secret that we love some Southern, burlap details up in here, and for that reason alone (oh, and some seriously gorgeous photography), we’re field trippin’ it up to Tennessee for this one-of-a-kind Southern stunner. I did a little happy dance when Amber, of Amber Davis Photography, sent over this wedding because I just KNEW you Lowcountry ladies would go crazy over it. Bailey + Chris tied the knot this past October in an outdoor ceremony followed by a tented reception on the grounds of Cheval Manor Farms. The whole event is laced with simple, yet beautiful, burlap details that give the entire day a rustic and relaxed feel. They even treated their guests to a Lowcountry-esque boil, a Smores station and even sent them packing with sweet, honey favors! Oh, and how adorable are those Toms? Love!

Brianna + Bob {Hilton Head Wedding}
You know I’m a big fan of an oceanfront wedding…and who could blame me? They’re simple, beautiful, brimming with character and charm and when you mix it with a little Lowcountry you get an ease you just can’t find anywhere else. Well, today’s Hilton Head nuptials took place this past Fall at the Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort and it’s was just as gorgeous as it sounds. The couple, Brianna + Bob, brought along the talented duo at Scott Hopkins Photography to capture their vibrant October wedding while A Floral Affair translated their blue + orange color palette into a colorful soiree! Their coastal vibe was carried throughout the day as sand dollars were used for escort cards, beach chairs adorned the top of their cake and, naturally, guests were treated to a soft, ocean breeze!
Southern Weddings {Shoes}
While I tend to be a big fan of flip flops, I sure do love a good pair of heels…especially with a wedding dress. I’m not sure what it is but when you throw on a fun pair of heels it automatically gives you a little sass in your step. So, I’ve rounded up a few of my favs to spark a little inspiration in your wedding day attire. I’ve got dainty and neutral to swanky and colorful. I’ve got buttons and bows, ruffles and sparkles…a little something for everyone!

Meredith + Keith {Beaufort Wedding}
My inbox has been dripping with Lowcountry wedding fabulousness, and I’ll tell you what…this girl is not complaining! South Carolina photographer, Angela Cox, sent over this knockout and I couldn’t wait to share these stunning images and darling DIY details. Meredith + Keith tied the knot in the laid back town of Beaufort this past Fall under dreamy Oak trees in Meredith’s parent’s backyard. Meredith’s girls were dressed in gorgeous green Dessy dresses that they complimented with vibrant bouquets. All the maids arranged their own bouquets and the Bride’s aunt tackled the boys boutonnieres….pretty impressive, huh? After the ceremony they moved into the Lucy Creek Dock house where guests were treated with Lowcountry cuisine from Wren’s, grandma’s pound cake and tunes from A Sound Celebration!

Kam + Jason {Hilton Head Island Wedding}
The weather’s perfect, the flowers are starting to bloom and Spring is un-officially here! You know what that means…wedding season is right around the corner!! To help get us in the mood, our friends over at Scott Hopkins Photography are sharing Kam + Jason’s beautiful Lowcountry wedding at Hilton Head’s Windows on the Waterway. Kam looked stunning in a strapless gown that she paired with a flirty pink bouquet designed by A Floral Affair while her maids rocked darling pink dresses. The couple tied the knot in a laid back outdoor ceremony that overlooked the Intracostal waterway. After saying ‘I do,’ the newlyweds and their guests moved the party to Windows on the Waterway where the talented team from Celebrations Catering & Events treated guests to an array of Southern cuisine and Signe’s supplied the tasty cupcakes. Jojo Squirrel and the Home Pickles kept everyone up and dancing til late in the evening!

A Brand New A Lowcountry Wedding!
I’m sure most of you guys thought this day would never come (and sometimes neither did I)! But, it’s finally here! Our brand, spanking new site has gone live and I couldn’t be happier. It looks better than I could have ever imagined and it’s all thanks to a few truly talented individuals and I just have to sing their praises…
First up, Mrs. Emily Ley. Emily is the creative mind behind A Lowcountry Wedding’s fabulous branding. Emily hit it out of the park with the perfect color palette and spot-on logo and for that I have to give a HUGE, HUGE thank you!
Then, we have Sarah Kate Snyder, owner of Studio Snyder who, to put it mildly…nailed it. Sarah Kate took our perfect branding and translated it into a killer new website. It’s got that laid-back, Lowcountry ease we were missing before. I’m so over-the-moon with how everything has turned out that I just can’t say thank you enough!
I hope y’all love it as much as I do! We appreciate everyone’s kind words and are excited about all the big surprises we have in store for you this year!
