Oh, Paul Johnson! What have you done to me with this gorgeous, coastal engagement session? Snapped along the Florida shoreline in beautiful Seaside, the camera fell in love with the adorable Sasha + Riley. Not only was the backdrop flawless, but the duo’s effortless style combined with the talents of Paul Johnson Photography made for an engagement session that tops my list of favorites. Simply perfect.

Alicia + Wade {Pensacola Wedding}
Alicia + Wade tied the knot this past June on the shores of Pensacola, Florida. The couple and their bridal party prepped for the big day at the Margaritaville Beach Hotel where the award-winning photographer team from Studio One Eleven Inc. caught some fabulous images! Alicia dazzled in a strapless gown complimented by a stunning bouquet while her maids rocked dresses in varying shades of purple. Wade and his men looked dapper in white. After the perfect sunset ceremony, the couple and their guests headed to the Sanders Beach-Corinne Jones Community Center to kick off the evening’s festivities. Alicia left the decor to the talented staff at Southern Floral Traditions, who completely transformed the venue. What a beautiful (and fun) wedding!?!

Lindsey + Adam {Florida Engagement}
Lindsey + Adam’s Tallahassee Engagement Session is so awesome that it took two days to complete! Dressed in their stylish vintages duds, the soon-to-be-newlyweds met up with Florida photographer, Shutter Pop Photo, for part one at the Train Station. Throughout the day, Adam kept the crew laughing and his darling bride smiling as they explored the tracks. St. Mark’s National Wildlife Refuge and lighthouse set the stage for the second portion of the session. With their blanket and picnic basket in tow, Lindsey + Adam were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery and gorgeous sunset.

Sarah + Patric: The Swamp
Story time! I grew up outside of Atlanta and after graduation attended the University of Georgia. One summer during college I moved to Charleston and met a studly Citadel cadet who hailed from the Sunshine State. As our relationship blossomed, it quickly became very apparent we had a serious issue on our hands…he was a huge University of Florida fan (insert Gator Chomp here). Uh-oh.
A few years ago, bets were made on the Georgia/Florida game (which, if you’ve never been it’s a fantastic time) and I lost. As punishment, I was suppose to sport orange and blue at the following year’s game. Well, being the poor sport (and Georgia grad) that I am…I pouted and didn’t do it
Since I politely declined, my now-husband has decided I need to make up for it by attending a game at “The Swamp” and at this point we just haven’t made it down. So, I figured, until we’re able to plan a fall weekend to Gainesville, I’ll just live vicariously through Sarah + Patric as the spend an afternoon trouncing around the UF stadium with the lovely ladies of Stay Forever Photography for a killer Engagement Session.

Southern Weddings {Anna + Patrick}
Whenever I talk to someone who is recently engaged and in the planning stage, (whether I know them or not), my first question is always, “Have you picked out your colors?!” I love to see the color palette brides choose because it always says so much about their personality. Today’s Florida bride, Anna, picked a perfectly beach-y combo of orange and blue for her October nuptials which matches her and hubby Patrick’s vivacious, laid back and classic style. Anna is just radiant in her white Maggie Sottero gown which she paired with a few blue accessories (lovin’ that necklace) that fit the mood of the day just right…don’t you think? The ladies of Stay Forever Photography, Jessica and Melissa, were on hand to capture all the loveliness (and boy did they do their job!). With a beautiful backdrop of palm trees and a touch of the Florida sun, Anna + Patrick were wed at Fort Pierce Yacht Club. They continued the evening with some serious dancing, delicious food and gorg flowers by Giordano’s.
If I don’t respond back to emails or phone calls today it’s because this wedding makes me want to take off straight to the beach
Sullivans here I come!
Thanks so much for sharing, ladies!
