Legare Waring House Wedding {Jodi + Brian}

This Lowcountry tale begins at the romantic Legare Waring House where stunning Oak trees create the perfect backdrop for a picturesque Southern wedding. With the help of Charleston Flower Market, Rory Metz of Jubilation designed an elegant outdoor affair with lovely pops of purple for Jodi + Brian’s Charleston wedding. Thankfully, the weather shaped up and gave way for an evening of delicious cuisine from Duvall and tunes from The Highballs. Thanks to amelia + dan photography for capturing another Lowcountry beauty!

Creek Club at I’On Wedding {Virginia + Jonathan}

Coming off a dreary weekend in the Lowcountry, I figured we all could use a little Charleston wedding pick-me-up, eh? This beautiful Creek Club at I’On wedding comes to us straight from ALW Bride Virginia, and it is filled to the brim with lovely DIY details. The adorable couple tied the knot in an intimate, outdoor ceremony under the trees. Virginia stunned in a strapless gown and hand-painted TOMS, while her maids rocked blush-toned dresses and cowboy boots! Virginia + Jonathan enlisted the services of Carter’s Kitchen to treat their guests to a delicious menu of upscale Southern cuisine, while the crew at Cupcake presented their sugary creations. When the team at Richard Bell Photography is behind the lens you know you’re in store for some Lowcountry magic, but add a crew of talented Charleston wedding vendors and in you’re in for quite the treat! Courtney + Mark tied the knot at the romantic Magnolia Plantation & Gardens where they said ‘I do’ in an intimate, outdoor ceremony as Courtney rocked a Fabulous Frocks gown. A. Caldwell Events orchestrated a beautiful Southern affair in a lovely purple color palette, while guests dined on Lowcountry cuisine from Newton Farms Catering! To wrap up the evening, guests were transported back to their hotels by Absolutely Charleston while munching on pigs-in-a-blanket!

If you’re in the mood for a Southern plantation wedding, then we’ve got just the Middleton Place stunner for you! Jessi + Matt tied the knot last summer in an airy affair that is sure to get your Lowcountry wedding motor running! The vibrant flowers laced with bright peonies were a lovely match for the bridesmaids’s grey dresses while Bride Jessi was the picture of perfection in a one-shoulder gown. Guests were treated to what looks to be a lively celebration while dining on Lowcountry staples like She Crab Soup and corn pudding! Thanks to Patrick Hall Photography for capturing all the fun!

There’s only one cure for this rainy weekend…a festive, Charleston wedding at the picturesque Old Santee Canal Park! Holli + Tyler said ‘I do’ in a gorgeous, outdoor ceremony on the grounds of the pristine park. The newlyweds then joined their guests for a picturesque, Lowcountry reception under the stars as guests were treated to a celebration in hues of pink and orange, and to top it all off, a cookie bar! Cotton Dock Wedding {Erin + Jason}

You can’t go wrong with a Boone Hall Plantation wedding. The entire Plantation is simply majestic and who could ever complain about a Lowcountry evening on the water at the Cotton Dock!? Not this girl! Collette Mruk Photography sent over Erin + Jason’s magical Charleston wedding and with every image the dreaminess just kept coming. Shannon McLeod handled the design and coordination by keeping with the rustic beauty of the venue, and with the help of OK Florist, the duo added in sweet touches of Fall. As usual, that wonderful team at Cru Catering delivered a delicious menu of Lowcontry cuisine while Jay Maxwell kept the guest dancing late into the evening!
