I just love any Lowcountry venue that truly lets the landscape do the talking and I’ve always been a fan of reception sites that offers outdoor options.  I mean, who doesn’t want to be soaking up the scenery when they’re in town!  Today’s beauty comes from Kayla Jones Photography at one of our favorite spots just outside of Charleston, The beautiful Island House…and y’all are going to love every minute of it   Sissy + James took full advantage of The Island House’s  breathtaking spot along the banks of the Stono River and combined it with adorable rustic decor and a natural white, green and brown color palette.  Sissy glowed in a strapless gown from White that she perfectly paired with her cowboy boots while her ladies looked lovely in gowns from Bella Bridesmaid.   After their traditional ceremony, guests were welcomed to an evening under the stars with a gorgeous tented reception where Tom Smith Catering treated the crowd to fabulous Lowcountry cuisine, Country & Lace nailed the flowers and Ashley Bakery created the amazing cake!
