Boone Hall Plantation Wedding {Lindsay + Pat}

After seeing the mix of talented Charleston wedding vendors that were involved in Lindsay + Pat’s Southern affair, before I even glanced at the pictures, I knew it would be a perfect fit for A Lowcountry Wedding. The adorable couple dated for 10 years before tying the knot at one of my favorite venues, Boone Hall Plantation (the place they said they’d get married when they were sixteen years old)! The duo hand-selected the talented Stephanie Gibbs of Sweet Grass Events to incorporate a handful of sweet, personal details as she whipped up their elegant Southern celebration. Luckily for us, Shannon Michele Photography was on hand to capture all the lovely details and some seriously swoon-worthy portraits. But to be honest, I secretly want to throw on Lindsay’s dreamy, Jean’s Bridal gown and prance around the grounds of Boone Hall with that beautiful pink bouquet. Picture. Perfect.

Boone Hall Plantation Wedding {Linnea + James}

Alright, hands up if you love seersucker!? That’s what I thought! Linnea + James tied the knot at the Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation (just like Blake and Ryan!) in a quintessential Charleston wedding. The bride looked timeless in a beautiful strapless gown, while the groom looked perfectly Lowcountry in his seersucker suit and cotton boutonniere. The couple said ‘I do’ with the marshland in the backdrop before joining their guests for a gorgeous celebrations designed in shades of blue with touches of hydrangeas and calla lilies. Thanks to talented Charleston wedding vendor, Corey Potter Photography, for capturing their dreamy, Southern wedding day!

Boone Hall Plantation {Colleen}

Today’s bride, Colleen had the brilliant idea to select the grounds of Boone Hall Plantation as the backdrop for her bridal portraits…and boy, did it pay off! Located just over the bridge in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, this stunning Lowcountry venue is a must-see when location scouting. Once home to the 2004 movie, The Notebook, Boone Hall offers a picturesque setting for bridals, engagement sessions, rehearsal dinners and weddings.

Boone Hall – Cotton Dock Wedding {Peter + Nicole}

The Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation is easily one of my favorite venues in Charleston. Nestled along the marsh of the Wamponcheeone Creek, it provides the perfect Lowcountry setting along with an always needed cool, salty breeze. This past Winter, The Daniels were on hand to capture Peter + Nicole’s gorgeous rustic rehearsal dinner. Sabrina with Eventa Bella did an AH-mazing job with the decor. I love the cozy, elegant vibe she was able to accomplish…and who doesn’t love those twinkle lights? Most couples don’t enlist the talents of their photographers for their rehearsal dinner but I’m so glad Peter + Nicole did. Not only did The Daniels take some killer detail shots but is that last image not perfection? Love…
