I’m in the process of recovering from one heck of a crazy week that ended with yesterday’s Bridge Run, so I figured since the soreness has kicked in and it looks like I’ll be stuck to the couch for a bit, the least I could do is treat you to a dreamy Southern wedding. Maybe two if you’re lucky! This Spring beauty comes to us straight from Texas at the Ranch at San Patricio. Erin + Cheston were able to incorporate beautiful flowers to achieve a romantic evening with plenty of oh-so fabulous vintage details. Thanks to Studio Eleven Photography for capturing all the loveliness!
I’ve just been eating up this heavenly Spring weather we’ve been blessed this weekend! So, in honor of Southern Wedding Sunday, and this 75 degree weather, we’ve got Krystle + Lance’s adorable engagement session from Chic Shot Studio that will have you b-lining to spend some time outside. I’m just giddy over the colorful balloons and how these two lovebirds seem to be floating away!
You know we love everything Southern when it comes to our weddings and this adorable Georgia engagement session from Anna K Photography is just the thing to satisfy our Southern Wedding Sunday craving! Groom-to-be, Will, is from a very small town right outside of Vidalia, Georgia called Ailey, where his family owns 500+ acres of picturesque, country land that was perfect for their rustic engagement session. Will and Ashley are so sweet together and watching them interact will make anyone’s heart happy. The diamond in Ashley’s ring is a family heirloom from Will’s grandmother, the perfect touch to something that is already so special!
We’re straight out of the gates this morning with one heck of a Southern Wedding from Virginia’s-own Mike Topham Photography. This beauty took place at the bride’s family home which is clearly the perfect spot for a big Southern bash! The Bride, Carman, tasked her mother, and a close family friend, with creating the stunning floral arrangements and charming bouquets. They went for a relaxed, rustic feel and even incorporated dried cotton from neighboring farm fields! As a nod to the groom’s love of hunting they also incorporated pheasant feathers into the decor and served venison BBQ sliders. The bride and groom even followed the old southern superstition of burying a bottle of bourbon to be sure they had good weather on the day of the wedding and as you can see, their wedding day weather was perfect!
Oh, y’all….we’ve got a Southern Wedding Sunday on deck that is going to have you pinning your pretty little hearts out! First up is one of our favorite destination photographers, the great Meg Baisden Photography, who made the trip to the Windsor Court Hotel to capture Ginger + Chris’s luxurious, New Orleans wedding. With the help of Second Line Weddings & Events, the couple went with timeless details for their black tie affair by dressing the men in classic, black tuxedos, the bridesmaids in evening gowns and the tables draped in silver linens with an abundance of dreamy roses and hydrangeas from Kim Starr Wise Floral Events. Oh, and of course, candlelight. Ah-mazing!
