Ohh, girls! We’re about to take you on a serious swoon-fest starting with a big ol’ Southern wedding from Charleston wedding vendor Rick Dean Photography in Denmark, South Carolina! The bash took place at the bride’s parents’ house where they welcomed over 350 guests in a stunning, outdoor reception. Bride Jessica dazzled in a V-neck, lace gown while her maids looked timeless in one shoulder, knee-length navy dresses. Guest dined on a smorgasbord of delicious, Southern cuisine from Don Rizer Catering before bidding the newlyweds farewell with a gorgeous sparkler exit!

I’m still in a slight state of shock that it’s already 2013. I mean, boy, does time fly! We’re kicking off 2013 with a dreamy, Magnolia Plantation and Gardens wedding from the talented crew at MCG Photography. This beauty was full of swoon-worthy, pink details that were designed to complete perfection by Charleston wedding vendor, Engaging Events. After a touching, outdoor ceremony, guests were treated to color-coordinating, Strawberry Rhubarb Mojitos during cocktail hour in the Horticultural Maze Garden. The celebration then moved to the tent where guest dined on Lowcountry cuisine served family style and a fabulous cake from Elaine’s Events with layers of banana’s foster and chocolate ganache and caramel mousse!

I can’t believe we’re wrapping up 2012! It’s been a wonderful year here at A Lowcountry Wedding and couldn’t have done it with our your support. Kacy + Justin’s beach affair took place at the breathtaking DeBordieu Club where the talented Paula Player Photography was on hand to capture all the lovely details. Island House Wedding {Megan + Cisco}

Bride Megan selected The Island House on Johns Island to capture the beauty and elegance of the grand, Deep South while also making sure her guests felt relaxed. They incorporated soft, delicate flowers like hydrangeas and spray roses in contrast to stunning dahlias to create a wonderful symphony of color that was breathtaking against the dreamy, Lowcountry backdrop. To honor her grandmother, they included old canning jars as vases at the reception. “If anything signified Grandma’s love the best, it was her canning!” Thanks to Wanda Cavazos of Richard Bell Photography for capturing all the beautiful moments.

I had a hard time choosing what pictures to use for this beauty from Fia Forever Photography because in every shot blushing bride Lydia is completely elated. It’s just too lovely not to share. Lydia + Clay got hitched in Mt. Pleasant, at the charming Wando Farms, in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony.
