Southern Engagement {Emma + Eric}

It’s always kinda weird to write a post when it involves people you know, which is why I’ve been trying to write this one up for the past few weeks. You want to make sure the images are arranged just perfectly and all the words sum up just how excited you are for the twosome…so stressful! Emma’s my adorable little sister who also serves as a Grammar Nazi when it comes to A Lowcountry Wedding Her and her fiance Eric are tying the knot in Atlanta this coming October and while they might not be getting hitched in the Lowcountry, their rustic engagement session from Katy Albano Photography is just too awesome not to share! Partially because they even invited their wonky-eared pup, Henna Mae. So happy for you two and can’t wait for your big ol’ Catholic ceremony!

This adorable North Carolina couple is simply head-over-heels for each other and are looking forward to their Charlotte wedding at St. Mary’s Church. Boone Hall Plantation {Amanda + Nick}

I’m not sure about all of you, but we’re in route to the Boone Hall Plantation Oyster Roast to get our shuck on! In honor of one of my favorite weekends of the year, I figured Amanda + Nick’s engagement session from Priscilla Thomas Photography would be the perfect way to celebrate for those of you that won’t be able to join us today. This sweet duo spent the afternoon on the Plantation, at one of Charleston’s most-sought after wedding venues, as the danced in the cotton field, played with the horses and enjoyed spending time with their pooch, Indiana.

I felt compelled to share a little loveliness on this gorgeous, Lowcountry weekend and who better to assist than our friend and Charleston wedding vendor, Gillian Reinhardt of Carolina Studios! The sweet couple, Holly + Chris, joined Gillian for an afternoon in the Holy City before wrapping up the day at the picturesque Waterfront Park. We’re headed into what is sure to be a fabulous, January weekend. I mean, we’re talking 75 degrees and sunny! Is it springtime already!?! So, in honor of this beautiful weather, I thought a gorgeous Charleston engagement from our pal Britt Croft Photography would be the perfect way to get the celebration started.
