I’m not really sure where May came from all of the sudden, but I sure am excited to welcome the summer. We’ve been busting our tails at A Lowcountry Wedding prepping for one helluva summer that will be filled with wonderful new interns, dreamy weddings from the Carolina coast and a brand, spanking new online publication. It’s gonna be quite the doozy! Charleston Wedding Vendor {Brackish Bow Ties}

A few weeks ago, I made my way to Charleston Fashion Week‘s Spring Bridal Show, which was, as I’m sure you could guess, over-the-top and fabulous. Not only were the gowns amazing, but upon arrival, I was greeted by a group of talented Charleston wedding vendors, one of my personal favorites were the boys of Brackish Bow Ties!

These two gents, Jeff + Ben, are the brains behind Brackish Bow Ties. When Ben was tying the knot, he designed the first turkey feather bow ties for his groomsmen to sport on his wedding day. Naturally, they were a huge success!

Based in Charleston, South Carolina, these Lowcountry beauties are perfect for the Southern outdoorsman in your life. The crew at Brackish Bow Ties handpicks each and every feather, so no two bow ties are exactly alike.

The craftsman ship doesn’t stop at the tie itself, each work-of-art comes wrapped in burlap in its very own hand-branded wooden storage box to make preservation easy.

Magnolia Plantation and Gardens Wedding {Courtney + Mark}

When the team at Richard Bell Photography is behind the lens you know you’re in store for some Lowcountry magic, but add a crew of talented Charleston wedding vendors and in you’re in for quite the treat! Courtney + Mark tied the knot at the romantic Magnolia Plantation & Gardens where they said ‘I do’ in an intimate, outdoor ceremony as Courtney rocked a Fabulous Frocks gown. A. Caldwell Events orchestrated a beautiful Southern affair in a lovely purple color palette, while guests dined on Lowcountry cuisine from Newton Farms Catering! To wrap up the evening, guests were transported back to their hotels by Absolutely Charleston while munching on pigs-in-a-blanket!

Citadel Beach House Wedding {Linsey + Mark}

Fia Forever Photography can you just stop it! The only thing this beautiful photography is going to do is spoil us. But that’s just how we like it Fia Forever Photography teamed up with a crew of talented Charleston wedding vendors to bring to life a gorgeous Isle of Palms wedding from Linsey + Mark. The couple said ‘I do’ in one heck of a oceanside ceremony where guests were able to put their toes in the sand. After, the duo joined the crowd for a lively evening at the Citadel Beach House where everyone was invited to enjoy Lowcountry cuisine from Crazy Dutchman Catering and treats from WildFlour Bakery! Downtown Charleston Portraits {Becky}

You may remember how excited we all were when Carmen Ash Photography stunned us with Whitney’s Downtown Charleston bridal session, or even Jenny’s romantic Pawleys Island portraits. I almost thought things couldn’t get any better from behind the lens of Carmen’s camera, but the Charleston wedding vendor has done it again! This time it was Miss Becky in all her Holy City loveliness. The beautiful Bride-to-be slipped into her jaw dropping lace gown at Modern Trousseau where she played in the salon before the duo gallivanted around King Street.
